The veteran’s community of Pleasanton has joined together with the City of Pleasanton to construct a Veterans Memorial in Pioneer Cemetery.

Save the date! Everything is on schedule for the November 12th dedication of the Pleasanton Veterans Memorial. Twenty one Pleasanton residents who died while serving in harm's way are honored here. And more than 500 area Pleasanton area veterans are buried within sight of this memorial, at least two who served in the Civil War.

Memorial dedication set for Veterans Day weekend at Pioneer Cemetery Work is underway on a $390,000 memorial at the city-owned Pioneer Cemetery that will pay tribute to the more than 500 veterans who are buried there.

We have just over two and a half months left to raise $46,000 for the Pleasanton Veterans Memorial -- we've raised 85% of our $301,000 goal! Thank you to all who have already donated. Please attend the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Pleasanton Veterans Memorial on Monday, June 27th at 1:00PM in Pioneer Cemetery.
We are now at 80% of our fund raising goal. Over 200 individual donations totaling $240,000 have been received so far. Just $61,000 remains.
The memorial will be completed in late October and dedicated on November 12, 2016.

Donations are now coming in almost daily. As of today, we have received more than $220,000 toward our approximate goal of $250,000 to $275,000. On April 26th construction bids will be opened and we will have much more clarity with regard to our fund raising objective. Please help us reach our goal. Tentative dedication of the Pleasanton Veterans Memorial is scheduled for Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Pioneer Cemetery in Pleasanton. The date for ground breaking ceremony will be announced soon.
