St. Clare's Episcopal Church
An Episcopal church celebrating 50 years of worship and service in Pleasanton, California. No boundaries on faith, no borders on hope, no limits on love!
The September issue of the e-Pistle is available here:
This Sunday's 10 a.m. service will not be livestreamed because our volunteers are either out of town or filling other roles for the service. We WILL however be celebrating Holy Eucharist led by the Rev. Jill Honodel, and we'd love to see you in person if you are able. If you would like to find out how you can join the stream team, contact Trish Haller or the church office and we will show you how it's done (it's not hard!)

The bulletin for this Sunday:
We had a great group of 15 people from St. Clare's Pleasanton, St. James Fremont, and St. Anne's Fremont that gathered for a wine and cheese watch party for Bishop Austin Rios' installation service!
Today's bulletin:
Come to St. Clare's on Sunday, August 11 for a Wine & Cheese Watch Party for the installation of our Ninth Bishop, the Right Rev. Austin Keith Rios. You won’t have to fight the traffic in San Francisco AND we have plenty of parking!
No need to sign up — just come and celebrate with friends from St. Clare’s and parishes from around our Southern Alameda County Deanery. The service begins at 3 p.m., so we will begin gathering at 2:30 p.m. for wine, charcuterie, and conversation!

There will be no bulletin this Sunday, as our wondrous parish administrator is out sick. Never fear! These are the readings, which you can find in any bible or on-line, and you can follow along in the book of Common Prayer, which you can find here: https://bcponline.org/HE/he2.html.
Come join us for a pancake breakfast between the 8 and 10 a.m. services this Sunday July 28. There's no cost and all are welcome! We just want the sweetness of your company!

Here's the bulletin for this Sunday, July 14:
Fr. Ron is now on sabbatical.
A few more pictures from yesterday’s build!
Father Ron's flight back following the Corazon mission trip in Mexico has been delayed, so this morning's service will be morning prayer. He will come straight to church from the airport and hopes to be there in time for the potluck lunch after the service!
The Corazon build is complete!
House building in Mexico with Corazon!
Come help send Father Ron off on his sabbatical in St. Clare's style . . . with food! Bring something to share if you are able.
