In 2022 the nonprofit, Good in the 'Hood, brought pallets full of food and essentials for conference attendees to pack daily meals for individuals facing hunger in our community. In this 20-minute activity, our goal was to pack 2500 bags that included breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a few other essentials. We ended up packing 2700 bags! According to our post-conference survey, this was the highlight of the day for many conference attendees. And that is why we are excited to announce that Good in the 'Hood will be back to lead another packing activity at the 2023 Midwest Health Promotion Conference!
