We wrapped up a *fabulous* week of staff appreciation at Kimberly Lane with a beautiful grill out day! ☀️A big THANK YOU to all who planned, volunteered, decorated, chalked, donated and supported the PTA’s efforts in giving our teachers a little extra love this week! 💖🙌🏼📝

While we love to celebrate our staff and teachers every day, we are dedicating the WEEK of May 6th-10th to a SPECIAL time of acknowledgement and appreciation for the AMAZING staff at Kimberly Lane and all they do for our students. Our wonderful Teacher Appreciation Committee has a fun week planned and NEED YOUR HELP to pull it all off!

They also have a downtown Wayzata storefront open Wednesday through Saturday all year. Happy Spring Break everyone!! Our KL students got to burn some pre-break energy today with bounce houses in the gym- courtesy of their Coyote Dash fundraising goals! We will see you all back TUESDAY, April 9th! 🌟

The book fair is coming!! 🎉 Monday through Friday, Feb. 26- March 1! We will be in the LIBRARY this time… right as you walk into the school. 📚 We have all new books and a great selection of wonderful characters and stories… from preschool to adult!

**We also need volunteers**! All days have availability, but Wednesday is almost completely open! We appreciate your support! 🙌🏼💙💛

Kimberly Lane Coyotes are currently at $27,046 of our $40,000 fundraising goal! 🙌🏼🐾💛💙🎉

Thanks to all who have contributed so far! Keep sending those emails to friends and family- it’s the ONLY fundraiser of the year that we will ask for donations and that which we base our annual budget on!

Many parents are surprised by just how much our PTA fundraising pays for! Some of the items typically funded are:

-ALL field trip transportation costs
-Teacher and specialist grants
-Playground enhancements
-PTA Events (Multicultural Night, Bingo, Coyote Dash, Trunk-or-Treat, Track-and-Field Day, 5th grade party, Book Fairs, Movie Night, Service Club events)
-Teacher appreciation days! (Quarterly)
-Yearbooks
-Guest Speakers/Authors
-Extra funding for art and library supplies
-Special assemblies

Happy Mother's Day to all of the amazing women out there!

We finished up this fun week of celebrating KL teachers and staff with a little bbq action! We are so happy that that the rain held off!

It was a great afternoon of grilling burgers, summer tunes, sliced watermelon and lots of smiles!!

Thank you to all of the families that contributed to today's lunch and to the entire week of festivities! We received so much positive feedback from everyone on KL! We are so appreciative of the entire Kimberly Lane community!
