Oakland HOPE

Welcome to Oakland HOPE ministries. Our Food Pantry accepts families in need of food Tues thru Sat 11am-3pm. Fortunately, there is something you can do to help.

Imagine a unique station of hope in the center of Oakland County; a place where church and commerce unite to address the genuine needs of humanity; a place where individuals and families can find a helping hand and a caring heart. You know that Michigan is facing some tough economic times. What you might not realize is that some of the families hardest-hit by poverty live right in your neighborhoo

W-O-W, wow, wow! A BIG Thankyou to West Maple Elementary staff and students who created the Cereal Domino Challenge. Over 3500 boxes of cereal was collected and set-up like dominos through the school halls as a challenge to help feed the hungry. The excitement grew daily and their final week…click the video below to watch the cereal boxes fall like dominos throughout the halls of school as everyone clapped and cheered. This domino effect has affected both staff, students and parents to volunteer and you can too.

Jesus fed them first. We are happy to serve by providing lunch for the hardworking Pantry volunteers. In December, our Church La Iglesia Apostolica moved to our new Church-home in Pontiac. We believe that serving and loving others goes beyond just the four walls of our church building. “We are excited to build an ongoing relationship and continue to serve at Oakland HOPE”. If you would like to participate in our mana-project (providing lunch for volunteers) please send an e-mail to [email protected].
