The student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student athletes' lives on NCAA member institutions. The Johnson & Wales SAAC is comprised of two or three student-athletes from each of the 16 varsity teams. They host the annual "Walk For Hunger" each May along with many other events throughout the school year.

Women's Volleyball's Mikayla Arimura Appointed to D3 National SAAC GNAC Commissioner Joe Walsh is pleased to announce the appointment of Johnson & Wales University women's volleyball sophomore Mikayla Arimura to the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Downtown Showdown and Project Smile is TOMORROW!!! Be sure to come support wrestling and don’t come empty handed! Help support this great cause by bringing new and small teddy bears, crayons, and coloring books!
Downtown Showdown is just a few days away! Don’t forget to come prepared to donate to Project Smile! Coloring books, teddy bears, crayons and other small toys for kids will be accepted. See you there!
Mark your calendars! At wrestling’s Downtown Showdown on February 8th, we will be collecting again for Project Smile. Teddy bears, crayons, coloring books, etc. will be collected so first responders can give it to children who have been in traumatic events.
Project Smile give first responders teddy bears, coloring books, etc. to hand out to kids after they’ve been in a traumatic event. Help this cause and donate NEW teddy bears or coloring books at The Dunk this Thursday! Women at 5 and Men at 8. See you there!

During the months of November and December, SAAC will be running a hat drive for The Tomorrow Fund at the Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Come to any of these events and donate NEW hats! Or drop them off at the Wildcat Center to our lovely SAAC advisor, Jillian Withington, in the athletics training room.
