Guess what?! It's Wednesday again, and you know what that means! It is time to debut our next stellar women's athlete! This week we are featuring senior Brown Women's Water Polo player Marisa Kolokotronis. Marisa tallied eight points yesterday against Connecticut College. She scored five goals and assisted on three to lead the to a 15-5 win. Like and share to show your support for Marisa and the Brown Women's Water Polo team and help celebrate their accomplishments! We found this old photo of the University Boat House at the and thought we should share! The University Boat House (featured on the top) was dedicated on May 7th, 1938. Compare it to it's successor and the home of our rowing dynasty, the (featured on the bottom) was completed in 1967. What a long way we have come!

Good morning fans! It's time to announce our outstanding women's athlete this week. Today our athlete is Brown Softball's own Kaitlin Okimoto! The freshman shortstop has been honored as the Ivy League Rookie of the Week recording a .462 batting average in the first five games last week. Kaitlin went 2-for-3 tallying a run, RBI, and a double against Fordham. This is the first time that she has received this honor in her collegiate career. Congratulations, Kaitlin! Attention fans! This week's fantastic men's athlete of the week is Garett Delano! Garett is a member of the Brown University Baseball team and this past weekend Garett batted .500 in three games against Texas A&M. He also recorded one home run and two RBIs. In addition, he hit safely in all three mathes with a two-run home run in the series opener! Congratulations Garett! Share and like to help celebrate Garett's amazing accomplihments!

What better way to celebrate than honoring our Wednesday women's athlete of the week?! This Wednesday's outstanding women's athlete is player Shayna Mehta. On the weekend Shayna recorded 20.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game for the . Her awesome performance helped Brown to victory over their opponents Colombia and Cornell.
