Our webinar series for the year begins tonight! We kick off the year with a conversation about essays. If your student is interested in learning more about how the essay plays a part in our admission review process, how to find a good topic, and some tips and tricks along the way, please join us! Is your student interested in PC but has yet to apply? Our Regular Decision Deadline is January 15th, so there is plenty of time to submit their application! We know they might have questions, so we are also offering a session tonight, 1/3, to help answer questions and provide information about PC. Providence College - Prospective Student Webinars

Do you have a rising senior who is looking for some help with their college application essay? Join our admission staff this evening for a webinar designed for the class of 2024. They will walk through some tips and tricks about the essay, share insights into what we look for, how to begin brainstorming a great topic, and talk through the importance of the supplemental essay. We were happy to join the Providence College Alumni team for the annual Chicago Boat Cruise this month! In addition, members of the class of 2027 are invited, and we had a great group of new Friars with us. Can't wait to see you all on campus soon!

Rising Seniors and their families! We are hosting Preview Providence on July 31st, from 9-12 pm ET. This program is a half-day, with academic information, tours of campus, and admission information, along with tips and tricks about applying to PC. The link to register is below. The First Day in Friartown programs started yesterday, and we look forward to the rest of the dates this summer! So excited that the Class of 2027 is getting ready for the fall!

It's almost here! May 1st, Decision Day, is Monday, and we can't wait to welcome a new group of Friars to the family. Class of 2027, here we come!

Last week, we admitted a truly talented group of individuals, who join another group of amazing students from Early Action. We are so lucky to work with the students and families we do, and our colleague Owen put that into words so eloquently. We hope to see all of our admitted seniors on campus soon and can't wait to have them on campus this fall!

Congratulations and welcome, Class of 2027 No two years are alike for those of us who work in admission, but – even in that context – several things stand out as I reflect on the past several months of work in our office.

This has been a busy week for the admission office! We have started our committee review process for our Regular Decision applicants and are working hard to get those decision notifications to students as soon as we can. Our staff was thrilled to host a group of Cristo Rey counselors this week from all over the country. They were able to meet with many of our campus partners, tour campus, and attend a basketball game. We are proud to be a Cristo Rey partner!

November 1st has come and gone, and so has our fall travel. Never fear! The admission staff is now hard at work reviewing applications for our Early Action and Early Decision I deadlines. We will be sure to share more updates as we head into December, but know that our office is taking great care with our review and look forward to the work of putting together the class of 2027!
