School Community Council: We would like to let parents/families know of our Timpanogos Elementary School Community Council.
The community council is an advisory board that consists of the principal, two other school employees, and at least four parents or guardians of students who attend the school. Each parent or guardian is elected for a 2-year term. The council meets in the Conference Room from 3:20 to 4:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month; however, our FIRST meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 27, from 9:00-9:45am to allow teachers a chance to attend. All meetings are open to the public, but only members may vote on the issues. The agenda for each meeting will be posted on the school website, prior to each meeting.
Community Council Elections: We currently have two parent positions open for our School Community Council. One member will serve the remainder of a 2-year term. Nominations will be open on Back to School Night each year, and any interested persons submitting interest in serving will be introduced at the August 27 meeting. Elections will be held no later than the first week of September. Appointments will be made to fill any positions still open after elections. We invite all parents to come in and vote for a representative for the Community Council.
If you would like to be considered a candidate or to nominate someone to serve on the School Community Council for the next two years, please contact the school office (801-374-4955) or send an email to Clint Wolfe, Principal: [email protected]

5th grade DLI has been reviewing multiplication facts with a spinner game this week and they loved playing Rock Paper Scissors Showdown at PE time! Recess was also a blast!
Starting Monday, all parents and visitors will need to enter through the front door and check-in at the office using government-issued identification. All visitors need to wear a visitor badge printed in the office that day. This is a district policy. Only students will be permitted to enter the cafeteria in the morning for breakfast, and students need to line up with their class and enter their assigned doors with their class and teacher. Parents dropping off students need to remain outside and allow their students to enter with their classes.
Each grade level has been assigned lines or an area to line up at in the morning and a door for them to leave from at the end of school. 1st & 2nd grade, will be dropped off and picked up at the west side of the school, this is new for 2nd grade.
