🌿 Meet Brynna Bruxellas, an award-winning Crop and Soil Science master's student working to speed turfgrass research with drone technology. 🛩️📊
Using drone imagery, Brynna's research aims to streamline turfgrass quality assessments, making the process faster and less biased.

N.C. PSI platform director Chris Reberg-Horton's team is using a new third-generation imaging robot to build an open-source database that could power applications from w**d control to precision cover crop seeding.

🧬🌽 Celebrating groundbreaking research! Nicole Choquette’s Ph.D. research on adapting tropical corn to temperate climates earned the prestigious Kenneth R. Keller Research Award. One of the first in crop science in quite some time.

HIs journey at NC State has taken him from the classroom to the research field and is fueling his dream to return home to expand the family farm.

🎉 Congratulations to Ph.D. student Julia Janson for winning a Women In Science prize from The Story Exchange. Julia's passion for soils collided head-on with the challenges coastal NC growers face from saltwater intrusion.
Her research is laying the groundwork for field tools for growers to make in-season decisions about soil salinity.
