Corporate partners are at the core of our success - we could not do what we do and fund the programs we provide without the support of our sponsors! Looking for ways to make a difference in your community? Become an ALS United NC sponsor and get involved with the ALS community at our six walks and other events across the state! Share this opportunity with the corporations and local businesses you know - send them our way by emailing [email protected] and we'll connect. Sponsorships are available this fall at our walks in Charlotte, Greensboro and Wilmington, the Navigating ALS Symposium in Colfax, and in Raleigh for Drive Out ALS at Drive Shack. Lots of great ways to be involved in finding a cure for ALS and providing direct support for people living with ALS in North Carolina.

Thank you Lily for sharing your “why”.

Joe’s Camp Counselor Spotlight!

Joe’s Camp, our FREE weekend summer camp for kids whose lives have been impacted by ALS, is made possible with the support of our amazing volunteer counselors.

My name is Lily Cola, flower soda to help remember! This will be my third-year volunteering at Joe’s Camp. I first learned about Joe’s Camp through als ALS United North Carolina (formally ALS Association of NC) when my supervisor shared that The Joe Martin Foundation was looking for volunteers for Joe’s Camp. Once I first heard about the fun that was going down...I had to join in! Joe’s Camp is a great space for kids to be kids—they get the chance to hang their caregiver hat up for the weekend to talk with other young caregivers who are facing the same things. One of many favorites that I like about Joe’s Camp is being able to lead therapeutic activities for kids to really talk about what is going on or at least remind them that “hey you’re not alone.” Now since you know a little about me, I hope I get the pleasure to meet you and have some fun!

These important programs would not be possible without the partnership of ALS United North Carolina and our Joe's Camp Presenting Sponsor The ALS Association. Thank you to these two great organizations!
