His leadership as Clinic and Medical Director at various institutions, including Terry Peak Ski Area and Lawrence County Jail, has set a standard of excellence we deeply admire.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024 Family Medicine Residency Graduates.
This year's graduates include: Alexander Combs-Bachmann, D.O., Joseph McRaith, D.O., Kristina Grant, D.O., Jake Brozek, M.D., Chelsea Rambo, D.O. and Alyssa Weaver, M.D.
Each year the Family Medicine Residency Program accepts six medical school graduates into a three-year program of training in a variety of family medicine roles with an emphasis on rural health care. This yearβs graduates were honored at a ceremony at The Monument in Rapid City.

Monument Health Lead-Deadwood Clinic is celebrating the retirement of Thomas Groeger, M.D. on July 11 from 4-6 p.m. at the Miner's Den Conference Room at the clinic. Friends, family and patients are invited to attend.
Throughout his impressive career, Dr. Groeger helped deliver babies, providing OB/GYN care and has followed patients through all stages of life, working in adult medicine and providing end-of-life palliative care as well.
Dr. Groeger has served as the Clinic and Medical Director of Coeur Wharf, Terry Peak Ski Area, Sanford Lab, Lawrence County Jail and the director of the Emergency and Ambulance Services at Lead-Deadwood hospital.
