Sew Together is a Domestic Non Profit Corporation created to educate children and participants from the community to learn life skills while learning to sew, craft & create.
We’re wrapping up the non-profit part of Sew Together Reno. Our supplies all went to the The Generator Inc. where you can get a membership for $20/month to use the Fiber Lab. And the last of our funds went Project150 Reno who provides clothes & supplies to teenagers in need!
Thank you for all who participated in our sweet time together at Sew Together Reno! Keep sewing and being good to each other!

Upholstery 101 - a 5 week series taught by Christina Ugalde with Sew Nerdy Upholstery.
Come to all 4 remaining classes or just do a drop in for the date(s) that work for you. Bring your piece of furniture to The Generator Inc. to work on in class and leave there to work on your homework items between classes. Its a great space to spread out, remove staples, cut your fabric on large tables and utilize the industrial sewing machines available to members/class participants.
There is a $50 initial consultation fee - where the teacher will go over your piece with you, discuss the amount and types of fabric to source for your item and also review what tools and machinery will be needed for your project. Most tools and machinery is provided by either the Generator or the instructor after the review in your consultation.
Each class is then ONLY $25! Ive never seen an offering at such a reasonable price.
Make sure you register for the class so that you can get your initial consultation scheduled prior to one of the listed class dates.
