The East Greenbush Police Department is attempting to locate 15 year old Brianna Hanks who ran away from her home on November 25, 2023 at approximately 3:30 pm

Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events Training – January 4

All parents/guardians are invited to a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) training hosted by the East Greenbush Police Department and East Greenbush Central School District on Thursday, January 4 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Columbia High School.

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY:

The East Greenbush Police Department is attempting to identify the below pictured suspect in regards to a larceny investigation.

On 10/20/2023 at 2:31 PM the below pictured suspect left the DMV located at 99 Troy Road with a wedding ring that was accidently dropped by our complainant. The suspect made no attempts to return the ring and left the area.

The East greenbush Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency to host a "Drug Take-Back Day" on October 28th from 10am-2pm. Help us keep unused and expired medications out of the wrong hands.
If you can't make it on the 28th, as a reminder, we have a drop box in our lobby 225 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, Ny 12144.

Our Capital District YMCA is set to feed over 1200 families this Thanksgiving holiday.

Missing Person Alert
Ornella Metter, 16 years old was last seen leaving Columbia High School shortly after 2pm today 10/20/23 wearing a blue sweatshirt and ripped jeans (see photo).

She was last seen walking towards Luther rd exiting school property on foot. If you have seen Ornella or have any information please contact EGPD at 518-479-2525

Yesterday Officer Witko & K9 Bear provided a K9 demo for students interested in careers in Criminal Justice. A few things mentioned were the amount of training involved with being a canine handler and what these dogs are capable of doing.
