Dr. Brown is an accomplished scholar, educator and community leader with expertise in brand strategy, B2B marketing and marketing management. His research has appeared in leading academic journals and he has been recognized for his excellence receiving the VCU School of Business’ Award of Excellence in 2019, the Teaching Excellence Award in 2014 and more recently was named a 2022-2023 Provost Faculty Fellow.

The Accounting Advisory Council, in their fall meeting on December 1, Colleen Conrad, EVP, and COO of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) presented insights on the state of the accounting profession.
