It’s okay not to know everything. Or anything sometimes. That’s why there are librarians. If you don’t know something, they can help you figure it out. But, did you know you can chat online with librarians or set up appointments to meet with them one-on-one to get help with research assignments? You can! Now look at you—you know something about something! 🧠
Scurry to the link below to visit us online. 🐿️

Attention CEAHS and PRESS faculty: we’ll be visiting you today from 11am-1pm on the patio between the Combs Building and the Main Library. Stop by to grab some free goodies and chat with a librarian. We hope to see you there!
Do you have an awesome coworker that deserves some recognition? Give them a shoutout!

Today we honor and remember those lost on 9/11. If you are able, you’re encouraged to attend ’s memorial service and stair climb this evening. The service will take place at 5pm in the Whitlock Building, with the climb following immediately after at 6pm in Commonwealth Hall.
If you are looking for alllllllll the books, swipe to the second picture and zoom in on the top row of windows. OR, you can head up to the fourth floor of the Main Library and have a very fun time browsing. If you’re short on time, you can visit our website or stop by our Help Desk to look up the books you want and exactly where to find them. After you’ve done these things, you will have a giant brain full of the knowledge you’ve acquired from the books you’ve read and everyone will say, “Whoaaa, where did you get your giant brain???” And you will say, “EKU Libraries, duh!!” 🧠
It is International Dog Day, and of course we are celebrating 🐶 🐩 🐕
There are lots of new faces around here, so I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m Crouton, your favorite college squirrely girly 🤭🐿️💕
HOW did a squirrel end up managing a social media account? Let me ask you a better question—who run the world?? Squirrels!
I could yap about my lore all day, but the quick version is I showed up to the Main Library uninvited during the pandemic (I was BORED), and after everyone chased me around for hours (literally obsessed with me 🙄), they just decided to let me stay. So crazy!!!
Anyway, here I am, getting my degree and working at the Library, holding all the things together and keeping it very demure as I do.
If you’re still reading, here’s a list of my favorite things in no particular order:
🌰 Acorns
🪩 Taylor Swift
🌽
🎀 Pink
📚 Books
🎃 Spooky Szn
🏈 Football
🌳 Scurrying up trees in a manic state all across campus
Ok! Come see me and all the other cool things at EKU Libraries soon 💋 💗✨
Come visit us at the Library Open House today from 11am-2pm! We have free snow cones and lots of other goodies you can grab while you learn all about what the Library has to offer! 🍧📚🧠
Sources confirm using the library increases your likelihood of earning a gold medal 🥇
You see recommendations for what to read all the time—but what about what NOT to read? Tell us all about your least favorite books or things to read below 🤭👇
Did you know you can borrow hammocks from the Library? Stop by our Help Desk to check one out! ☀️
You never know who you’re going to find horsing around at EKU Libraries! Beyoncé the therapy horse came to visit us today, and we’re obviously head over hooves for her! 🤭
Many thanks to her handler, Rachael Dozier, for bringing her and to librarian Rachel Riffe for organizing this fun visit!
Happy , Colonels!

The plushies had a great time at our first Stuffed Animal Sleepover! Thank you for trusting us with your sweet friends—we’re already excited for next time! 🥹
All the plushies seemed to be sleeping soundly, and then we heard a commotion in the other room. These three snuck out for Java City and the caffeine was obviously a little too much for them!!
Dean Julie George had story time with all the plushies before bed. Fingers crossed that everyone behaves for their last night at the Library 🤞
