Happy Farmer Day! We recently got to tour Meadowbrook Farms here in Richmond. We had a fantastic time meeting all of the animals and learning about the ins and outs of running a farm.

Today we get to use the library’s new bug zapper on some new acquisitions. We recently received some books and periodicals from a local book seller. They were stored in a basement and storage sheds. So just to be safe, we’re using a bug oven to make sure we don’t also acquire some creepy crawlers as well.

We're closed today, but we wanted to show some cute animals for anyway. We hope you don't mind :)

‼️New Display‼️ For the month of May we had one of our student employees design the display. He chose Graduation for the theme. Happy Graduation Colonels from our EKU Library staff.

The plushies are starting to arrive for our very first Stuffed Animal Sleepover… are you dropping off your favorite stuffed toy today??

We're doing a fun, new thing next week that will take you back to the nostalgic days of elementary school-- a Stuffed Animal Sleepover!

We want you to drop off your favorite plush toy at the Main Library on Tuesday, April 30th and leave them with us for a couple of days to get into all kinds of trouble--er, we mean fun!

This is not just for students; faculty, staff, departments, colleges, and organizations can drop off their favorite stuffy to represent their group, too.

Everyone can follow along on social media to see what sort of fun the stuffed animals get into... and your stuffed toy might come home with a special prize just for you, too!

I have thrived during my time at Eastern because of EKU Libraries. It's provided me with all of the resources I need to do well in my classes, like great study spaces and librarians who help me with research. I have found the most amazing friends at the Library, and I'm so glad I've gotten to be part of a place like this!
