Free Olive Garden on Veterans Day!

Free Olive Garden meals on Veterans Day! Pick up your fully prepared meal (choice of fettucini Alfredo, Ravioli, Spaghetti) with salad at MilVet - 33040 Antelope Rd #114 Murrieta, CA 92563 between 12-5pm on November 11th, 2023.

Meals are ready to heat and eat and come with a salad. Each veteran family can reserve up to 4 meals per family. We also have a microwave if you want to stay and eat with us! Reservations are required and can be made at www.milvet.org/olivegarden.

Attention all veterans residing in Riverside County! You are eligible for the W.A.I.V.E. Pass, which is completely free of charge and offers a range of exciting privileges. The W.A.I.V.E. Pass grants you the following benefits:

- Free boat launch services on both Veterans Day and Memorial Day
- Free one-time admission per year to county-operated aquatics facilities
- Free one-time watercraft launching privileges at county-operated boat ramps (only on specifically advertised dates)
- Unlimited day use admission to Riverside County Parks for Disabled Veterans

The participating parks where you can use the W.A.I.V.E. Pass are Hurkey Creek Park, Idyllwild Park, Lake Cahuilla Veterans Regional Park, Lake Skinner Recreation Area, Mayflower Park, McCall Memorial Park, and Rancho Jurupa Park.

The W.A.I.V.E. Pass also offers the following Fishing Books:

- Fishing Book - $75
- Senior Discount Fishing Book - $70
- The RivCoParks Fishing Book Pass provides 12 fishing days for one low price.

The Fishing Pass may be used at Lake Skinner Recreation Area, Mayflower Regional Park, or Rancho Jurupa Regional Park. Please note that a state fishing license is required.

Ending the day on a harmonious note at March ARB! As the sun sets over the base our 452 Security Forces team lowers the flag for the day to the sound of retreat.

There's something special about the music that fills the air during these moments. It's a reminder of the camaraderie and pride we share as a military community. 🇺🇸❤️

Each year, women make up more and more of our military veteran population. according to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, women make up approximately THIRTEEN percent of our 19 million veterans! This is record breaking and that number continues to climb each year!

Our Executive Director, had one interesting experience coming back from his time in the service. It wasn’t at home. It wasn’t looking for a job….

It was in the grocery store.

“I was so used to having meals provided. A mission to accomplish. A uniform to wear. A schedule to keep. So when I went to the grocery store to pick out some cereal for the first time, I felt absolutely overwhelmed that there were SO MANY choices. An entire wall to choose from. I know it probably sounds silly but it was overstimulating and overwhelming to have so many choices again.”
