Winter Wonderland Gala and Online Toy Drive for Foster Youth:
I am so proud to announce what an amazing time we had at our Winter Wonderland Gala, and the great success we accomplished with our Online Toy Drive for foster youth. Proceeds from these fundraiser events benefit foster youth ages 11-17.
Gala -
The Gala featured Dante Fire, a live band with Guest vocalist Kim Caffey, a classically trained professional dancer (Alauna Walls) and Theresa Cartwright, a special education teacher in the Rialto USD who delivered a dynamic spoken word piece. Gala attendees enjoyed a 4-course meal, vendor and silent auction shopping and keepsake memorabilia photos from Pretty Flicks photo booth.
CEO/Founder Patricia Franks gave special recognition and presented plaques to our community partners Sir Charles Jackson, Jr., Chief Editor of City Pride Magazine and Mary Jo Ramirez, Executive Director Extraordinaire of California Family Life Center.
Toy Drive -
We adopted a local Riverside Foster Family Agency to fulfill the wish of over 25+ foster youth ages 11-17 through an Angels Wish List program. We had a blast at our giftwrap party with food catered by Olivia's Mexican Restaurant. A warm "Thank You" to our board members and volunteers who wrapped gifts and special thanks to our committed CEO, Patricia Franks for delivering the gifts to the youth.
Toy Drive -
