While many may already be familiar with alternative modalities' use for cancer, chronic pain, injuries, and weakness, there are many conditions for which an integrative approach can offer advantages. Some other common conditions we can treat include behavioral issues such as storm phobia and separation anxiety, neurologic conditions, kidney, liver, heart, or respiratory disease, conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, allergies, edema, wound care, vestibular syndrome, and more! The primary services offered are acupuncture, photobiomodulation (light/laser) therapy, and herbal medications. Here is pricing information for those services. The initial consultation is $350 plus any additional treatment. (Follow up appointments are $150 plus any additional treatment.) Acupuncture starts at $155 but there are packages that can be purchased at a discounted rate. Laser therapy starts at $70 for smaller areas and ranges up to $145 based on how many locations and length of time, and again, there are packages for multiple treatments at a discounted rate. Here are the expectations for your first visit. After obtaining a thorough medical history, the appearance of your pet's tongue, eyes, pulse quality, limbs and general attitude and constitution will be observed. A basic Western physical exam will also be performed. This information, along with your input and information from your regular Veterinarian, will be used to determine your pet’s treatment plan. Follow-up visits will likely be recommended as many of the integrative treatment modalities take time and repeat treatments to take full effect. Contact us to set up an appointment today!
