A few of the things we are seeing with our teens is the struggle with relationships, trouble with communication, and how to relate to others. This may be due to an increase of technology or the fact that our kids were put on hold for two years during Covid.
Groups allow for those connections where they can learn how to express feelings and thoughts with others. Feel free to reach out for an application or any questions you may have.
Rainy day inspiration...
We see this type of anxiety and depression in our schools everyday. He is right “something is going on” with our youth. I am thankful for this gentleman to come forward and speak up.
We need more men and woman like this to come forward and help normalize reaching out for help. We need more coaches, teachers, and administrators to recognize signs and help these students find available resources. And we need more counselors in our schools with a presence and understanding of what these students are facing each day.
