Do you need cultural events? Come out and see The Wall That Heals on Saturday at 10 am. There is an honors ceremony that has been approved as an off campus cultural event. Also, if you write a one page essay after the ceremony and submit it, you get a second credit. Win Win for all. Let's show our unappreciated generation of veterans that we are better than we were when they came home.

Hello everyone and welcome back to another exciting school year here at Winthrop. We are happy to announce our first meeting for the 2019-2020 school year. The meeting will be held on Thursday September 5th at 11:00 in the Student Veteran's Lounge on Campus during common time. We hope to see all of you there!

The Student Veterans of Winthrop University have been working with members of the City of Rock Hill who are bringing The Wall That Heals to Rock Hill. This is a three-quarter replica of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in D.C. The Wall will be in Rock Hill from October 23rd until October 27th. The Wall will be open for visitors 24 hours a day. Just a reminder that our veterans lounge is open until midnight to all students veterans. It is fully equipped with a TV, Roku connection, large sofa, refrigerator with refreshments and a full computer lab so you can work on assignments in a quiet environment.

Just a reminder, today at 11 am we will have our first meeting of the semester. Pizza is also provided for those in attendance

As the start of the semester approaches, we would like to welcome our new and returning student veterans to stop by the student veterans lounge. We are an amazing organization that is here to help and support all student veterans, we are located next to Owens in the bottom of Bancroft.
