Looks like the rain is going to hold off for our first Concert in the Courtyard Series of the year! ☀️🎶

This event is for ALL AGES, and cannot wait to spend the evening with some good music and good company; with some ice cream on the side🍦

If it decides to rain, follow the concert signs to our Town Hall which is in the Wellstead building.

This week’s Room Tour Tuesday is our spunky Game Room!

The Game Room is located on the 3rd Floor of our Diamondcrest building, and is our most versatile room. From exercise class, to movies on our projector screen, to therapy dog visits, to billiards.

We love this space! 🎱♟🎲

Thank you so much to Malmborg's Garden Center for going above and beyond in assisting our Chickadee residents, and dropping everything to give us what felt like a private tour!

Saturday was a beautiful day for our annual Mother's Day Brunch in our Crown Room! 🩷

There are never enough thanks to give to everyone that attended; it truly shows that this is our favorite event of the year. Good food, good company.... What more could you ask for?

We had our favorite policeman visit us this week for another Coffee with a Cop! Thank you Rogers Police Department for taking time out of your day to visit our residents! 💙

We are wishing a Happy National Nurses Day to our community superheroes! 💙

We celebrated with a Nurses Social in Town Hall with our current nurses, and some of our residents that were in the medical field. It was so inspiring to hear each person's career journey, and all had the same goal.... To love and care for the people they served.

Thank you to our nurses for being a part of our community, and the ones who may be reading this right now! 😊

We are wishing a happy 100th birthday to our sweet Bette! 🎉

She has been a part of our community for 12 years! Bette brightens everyone's day with her contagious smile, and kind heart; we are so lucky to have her a part of our Wellstead and Diamondcrest Family.

Five Star Senior Living

This week’s Room Tour Tuesday is our most unknown, but special spaces in our community… Grandma’s Playroom! ♥️

This multipurpose area is designed to encourage intergenerational connections, and accommodate to all resident hobbies/talents.

From puzzles, to art projects, to sitting and watching your grandkids/great-grandkids play; this room is open for everyone!

You will also find our “Take What you Need, Leave What you Can” shelf. This was created by our residents last year to offer a space to grab items when you’re in a pinch, or rehouse things you don’t need.

Grandma’s Playroom can be found on the first floor in Diamondcrest!

What a perfectly sunny day to create these beautiful flower arrangements! 💐

Huge thank you to Rogers Otsego Dayton Women of Today for regularly spreading joy to our residents. We were so grateful for the surplus of flowers this time around.

Also special shout out to Jessalyn from the WOT group who stopped by to help us make our arrangements! 👏

This week’s Room Tour Tuesday is our Chickadee Common Areas! ✨

There are many pieces that complete Chickadee, our largest memory care neighborhood, however here are a couple favorites:

Our Movie Room is cozy and inviting; nature documentaries are the biggest hit.

Our Life Skills Station room is fantastic for those of all interests/hobbies. You will always see a puzzle going in here as well!

We were too excited about our Earth Day treats that we did not catch any more photos! 🌎

Diamondcrest had the best worms in dirt they will ever taste 😉

Wellstead elevated their baking skills to create sugar cookies that replicate the Earth.

We have started quite the walking club in our Diamondcrest building.

A few of us ventured out to Otsego last week to take a walk along the Mississippi River! 👟

First up is one of our favorites…. The Whiskey Lounge 🥃

From entertainers, to parties, to bingo stores, our Diamondcrest residents love being in our Whiskey Lounge. Can you spot any famous icons on the wall?

Our Chickadee Residents are having so much fun with their monthly visits from students at Hassan Elementary! 🍎

From craft projects, to storytelling, to teambuilding games.... They have done it all.

Intergenerational programming brings endless benefits to both the residents and the children. We are so grateful for our time with them this year. 🥰
