The Executive Director plays a vital role in our organization. The Executive Director is responsible for providing leadership to the agency, strategic planning, implementing programs and achieving outcomes while working towards our mission of helping people, changing lives and ending poverty.

The ideal candidate would have a bachelor's degree in business management, public administration, social work, or a related field with 8 years of leadership and general management experience.

Our South 9th Early Head Start enjoyed a cool sensory activity last week. 🧊😎 They teamed up to break free the frozen toys, while working on their fine motor skills along the way! ❤️💙

All CAPSTJOE offices and Head Start centers will be closed today in observation of the 4th of July.

We will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 8.

This week, the Saint Joseph, Missouri Fire Department hosted some very special visitors, our Head Start children and families!🚒

Our children were invited to participate in a very unique fire inspector promotion process. During the visit the firefighters shared important safety information and gave our children a behind the scene tour of the firestation. The children even got to check out some of the equipment.

It was a fantastic experience for our Head Start children to meet the incredible heroes who keep our city safe.

A big thank you to the Saint Joseph Fire Department for this engaging and valuable opportunity!
