5th Circuit CASA of Missouri
Court Appointed Special Advocate. A child's voice lifted up by you.
CASA volunteers are a trained community members that advocate for children that are under the protection of the court for reasons of abuse and neglect. CASA is central to fulfilling society's most fundamental obligation by making sure a qualified, compassionate adult will fight for and protect a child's right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and respect, and to learn and grow in the security
Our program got the pleasure of participating in the Hands of Grace event this morning. A big thank you to Grace Calvary for inviting us to be apart of this event to assist us in raising community awareness for the need of CASA volunteers.
Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? Children in our community are looking for a volunteer like you.
The 5th Circuit CASA Program is seeking
dedicated community members to be a voice for children in foster care. Our program strives to serve 100% of the children in care. Our program is dependent on community support to ensure every child is appointed a CASA volunteer. Currently, our program of 30 volunteers is serving 101 children that are under the court’s jurisdiction for reasons of abuse and neglect. Every child deserves to be seen and heard. Children and youth with CASA volunteers are more likely to receive the service that they need to thrive. If you would like more information on how you can make a difference in a life of a child please contact our office at 816-901-1708. You can also check out our program website at 5thcircuitcasa.com for more information. Pre-service volunteer training will be starting soon. The 5th Circuit CASA program serves children in both Andrew and Buchanan County.

Since we have some new followers, we thought we would reintroduce ourselves to everyone!
We are Kadens Kloset: St. Joe. We are a non-profit, donation driven, volunteer run organization that provides essential items such as clothing, hygiene items, and furniture to foster and adoptive families.
The way our organization works is when a child is placed with a family, the family can message our page. When messaging, we ask that the family provide a phone number for contact, the child’s age, clothing and shoe size, and any items they made need to help take care of the child. One of our volunteers will then reach out to the family via text or phone call to make arrangements for the child or parent to come shop for clothing or essential items.
It’s really that simple.
Our volunteers respond to messages on our page, meet with families privately for shopping, and host our shopping days every other month. They also help sort donations and keep our Kloset organized.
Interested in donating to our Kloset?
We gladly accept monetary donations or any of the items listed below in the picture. All donations are tax-deductible.
Interested in volunteering?
Message our page and we will let you know how you can help.
In need of items for a foster or adopted child?
Message our page to set up a time to come shop!

June is National Reunification Month! We know children do best when they can safely remain with their parents or with other family members. That’s why CASA volunteers commit to strengthening families in their ability to care for and protect their children.
Kaden’s Kloset provides clothes and supplies to children in foster/kinship placements free of charge. If anyone in the community is looking to donate gently used/new children’s clothing, please consider passing along to Kaden’s Kloset. Many times children in foster care have little to nothing upon their entry into foster care. Kaden’s Kloset strives to make sure every kiddo that enters care is provided items to help make their transition a little less traumatic. Having something to call their own makes a world of difference. Thank you Kaden’s Kloset!
