Believe Anything and Everything is Possible
Believe Anything and Everything is Possible helps patients and families in the Lahey Clinic system who are dealing with cancer get through some of the tough times with financial assistance. The founder, heart and soul of Believe is Priscilla Westaway. Priscilla is a patient with Stage IV Breast Cancer at Lahey Clinic’s Oncology Department. While there, she observed many families struggling to cope with the mounting bills accumulated during treatment. She felt compelled to do something about the situation and was determined to combine her love of art and photography to raise money for this pressing need.
Priscilla, as a student at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA majoring in art with a focus in photography, organized and conducted a very successful photo gala named “Photo for a Cause” in October 2017. Priscilla and her team raised a significant amount of money selling photographs donated by nearly 100 photographers and by conducting raffles as well as creating awareness of the challenges that many families go through when a loved one is in treatment. All of the funds raised were directed to help the many families in need.
Believe Anything and Everything is Possible is a continuation of Priscilla’s love, compassion, and commitment to individuals and families in need that began with her own battle.
