Haven for Hope's Intake Department, Resource Center, Donation Center, and TC Lobby will be closed today in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, September 3rd for regular business hours.

The Haven family is heartbroken to share that Mary Rose Brown, Haven’s Board Secretary, passed away Friday at her home surrounded by her family.

Mary Rose was instrumental in the opening of Haven working alongside Mr. Greehey and a force at Haven that brought unconditional love, awareness, and incredible support over the years. The impact and legacy she had on Haven for Hope cannot be overstated as she gave her time, talent, and treasure to ensure the clients we serve had everything they needed to address the root cause of their trauma.

We were honored to recently show Mary Rose our appreciation when we renamed Haven's Chapel, The Mary Rose Brown Chapel of Hope.

Mary Rose will be greatly missed in our community and our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this time.

Temple Beth-El is proud to partner with Haven for Hope to host a shoe donation drive! Until August 31, drop off men's shoes (all sizes, new or gently used) at Temple during office hours.

“Right now, Haven for Hope is at our maximum capacity for individual single men for our low barrier shelter, and because of that, we have started a partnership with endeavors to offer emergency overnight sleeping,” said Terri Behling, Communications Director for Haven for Hope

Corazon Ministries extending hours, other nonprofits lend help to unhoused ahead of high temperatures The population of people experiencing homelessness in our area continues to grow, meaning more people are having to endure the elements.

Haven for Hope kicked off our United Way spirit week today with snacks and community in our board room. Today's theme was "Dress like your coworker" and everyone had a blast!
This week is a reminder of the critically important and transformative work accomplished through the United Way, its partner agencies, and supporters as we work together to change the lives of those in need in our community.

This past Friday, August 9th, marked a significant milestone for Haven for Hope's Young Adult Program - an entire year of transforming lives. We took a moment to celebrate and appreciate our brave young adults, as well as everyone who has contributed to shaping this program into the lifeline it is, with an intimate gathering at our Volunteer Center.

Our guests indulged in some delightful refreshments as they tuned into an uplifting narrative delivered by the remarkable Life Coach, .

A heartfelt thank you to each individual who was present, and to all our incredible partners, for their unwavering support in helping our young adults navigate their journey from Haven to Home.
