Introducing Mrs. Vied, our ML English teacher. “My empathy for students goes a long way in recognizing that everyone comes from a different place in life.” St. Luke’s curriculum enhancements will challenge our students to use their skills to create real-world products, such as newspapers, literary magazines, video announcements, and more. They will develop assets of value that individuals will be able to appreciate and enjoy. All these experiences will build an inclusive, informed community and foster understanding within our school.
Meet Mrs. Bennet, our art teacher. Her philosophy is that art feeds our soul and spirit. St. Luke’s provides a space where students can express themselves through different media. They can be creative and make mistakes that are not necessarily failures but can change a piece into something beautiful, enhancing the final work of art.
Mr. Robinson, a world traveler, will be teaching media production in the upcoming school year. Students love to create things, especially with technology! Teaching video production helps students find their voice and allows them to share what they see. We are teaching 21st-century soft skills that are important in the workplace today. We educate for success.
