Our Story
Started in 2012, U in the Driver Seat (UDS) empowers and educates college students to spread the message about the number one killer of young adults in America - car crashes.
The UDS program seeks to give college students the tools and resources in order to promote peer-to-peer education regarding risky driving behavior - impaired driving, distracted driving, drowsy driving, speeding, and lack of seat belt use.
UDS does not follow any set curriculum enabling students to personalize the program to their own distinct collegiate cultures and environments. Despite the diversity of our program our ultimate goal is the same – reduce the number of college students involved in car crashes.
