We are looking for local artists to participate in our Dia de los Mu***os Experience! ๐จ
This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your art and contribute to a cultural experience that honors and remembers loved ones in our community. ๐

Two pop up galleries will be established on-site for local artists to display artwork in one of the three categories: Dia de los Mu***os, Hispanic Heritage, and/or Celebration of Life.
๐ OFRENDA CALAVERA
Artists can pick up a blank bisque skull from our office to paint/decorate and return for display on the ofrenda. Artist recognition will be prominently featured on-site.
๐งโ๐จ HOST AN ARTIST VENDOR BOOTH
Artists are assigned a designated 10x10 space to display, demonstrate, and/or sell their original artwork.

On October 4th, hosted the 2024 Senior Health & Resource Fair at the Fifth Street Senior Center! ๐ฉบ
The event was a huge success, drawing seniors from all over the community eager to learn more about health and wellness. Attendees were greeted with a variety of informative booths offering resources on everything from nutrition and exercise to financial planning and healthcare services. ๐
Local healthcare providers conducted free screenings and offered expert advice, ensuring seniors had the opportunity to address any health concerns. ๐ฅ
The fair also featured engaging workshops on topics such as staying active and mental well-being. ๐โโ๏ธ In addition to the educational aspects, the event provided a lively atmosphere with music, refreshments, and opportunities for socializing.

โฝ๏ธ Join us in partnership with and as we will be hosting FREE soccer clinics on October 5th and 12th for girls between the ages of 7 and 18 of all skill levels!
๐ฅ Girls will have the unique opportunity to train with the best and grow as both athletes and individuals. The clinics will include high quality training from trained coaches and former professional players along with mentorship and mental health sessions to build confidence, positive thinking, and personal empowerment.

In prioritizing the health and safety of our participants, due to the continued poor air quality, all OUTDOOR programming and use of OUTDOOR facilities by registered participants or organizations has been cancelled through Sunday, September 15th. We hope to resume programming on Monday, September 16th.
Outdoor facilities include: baseball and soccer fields, basketball and tennis/pickleball courts.

As summer draws to a close, weโre excited to share the highlights and successes from our aquatic programming over the past few sessions. Itโs been an incredible season, filled with energetic kids, enthusiastic parents, and dedicated instructors.

๐ฆ Our swim lessons continued to be a popular choice, with impressive enrollments!
๐ฆ The Parent and Me and Junior Lifeguard programs had a range of participation, with steady interest across different sessions.
๐ฆ Our Water Aerobics class saw an increase in drop-ins, indicating a strong community interest in fitness and fun in the water.
