FundaMental Health
FundaMental Health is a non-profit organization on a mission to improve access to mental healthcare.
We provide financial grants, case management, and referral services for individuals in need, with the belief that improving mental health will fundamentally improve the lives and communities around us. We’re starting local in our home community of Greater San Diego, with plans to expand our programs to Los Angeles and beyond as we grow.
Meet Erin Randoll, a FundaMental Health board member, who shares her journey as both a patient and mental health provider in our new blog post. She discusses the struggles patients face in accessing care and the burnout providers experience due to low reimbursement rates and high demand.
Dive in to hear her unique perspective on the challenges in America’s mental health system.

This is how we do it.
Our care model is how we change the experience of mental health care.
We fund, connect, and support.
The FundaMental Health way.
“I’m buying the coffee. We have a coffee chat coming up at Viewpoint Brewing Co. this Sunday, June 30th, at 10am. This one is themed as being human. I encourage you to show up exactly how you feel emotionally and physically and I’ll do the same. We’ll be real, check in with each other, and foster a real, in-person community.” - Wyatt, Founder & CEO of FundaMental Health

Let’s get real. Let’s be human.
Sometimes fixating on an endpoint or goal of your mental health often takes you away from the journey itself — the actions, habits, and mindset you cultivate along the way.
At FundaMental Health, we support this journey. Our care model is how we reimagine the experience of caring for your mental health, every day and every step of the way.
Valentin is why we do what we do.
Valentin is one of our Clients who believes in themselves more than when he started therapy.
This is the impact that we can make, together.
Thank you for believing in us so that we can inspire more people to believe in themselves.

Introducing Fundamental Health with a message from our founder Wyatt Aleksandr
"I am happy to share my next venture with you all — FundaMental Health, a non-profit focused on improving access to mental health care.
This is a very personal initiative for me. I have been working on my own mental health for a while now and along the way, it has become clear that mental health is central to our overall well being and yet is desperately under valued by our healthcare system, making it far too difficult to access mental health services."
What does FundaMental Health do?
We provide funding, connection, and support to individuals who otherwise cannot access mental health care. We’re also building a community around the idea that access to quality mental health care is a fundamental right.
