We have had a great time celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary up in the mountains in Yosemite! Got in some fun activities including biking, and SUPing, and wild water swimming on the river, in fact we got in quite a few swims that were over 3 miles down the river in the cold water—which felt great in the
95° heat wave that was hitting the area 🏊🏽‍♂️😎!

We also got to stomp around a few other mountains along the way!

We are thankful for the grace of God in our marriage that has continued to bless, fill, guide, heal, free, encourage, empower, equip, and lead us, each step along the way!

Wow, summer came on so fast this year! It was just some weeks back that we were still experiencing snow falling up in the Sierras right up until the end of May. We’ve had some amazing divine appointments up in the mountains …when we have gotten a chance to do a bit of skiing. Hear about some of these wild “Holy Ghost Ski Stories” in this new video that we just finished. So as the heat sets in, cool off with a little winter in summer while checking it out:

We had a fun Father’s Day with our son Patrick and his wife Emily! Doing a little picnic down on the shore and then some time out on the water doing some Kayaking! Was a blessed time hanging out together!

We had a blessed time ministering together with our friend Dave Estrella and Pastor Dave at the Vineyard in Salinas. We were already experiencing the Lord’s presence moving amongst us after preaching and sharing but then it turned into a more radical ministry time when a prophecy came forth about the Lord bringing a fresh outpouring… I called everyone forward and pressed into the word and the fire of God just poured out in power with many ending up on the floor, Glory 🔥🕊️! Had a divine appointment afterwards, along with getting out to enjoy some of the awesome views out on the nearby Monterey Peninsula!

Had a blessed home meeting in Carlsbad this weekend hosted by our friend Lauren, the Holy Spirit unexpectedly showed up in the early part of the meeting! We were just talking with some of the people there about Lonnie Frisbee and the Mother’s Day Outpouring when the Holy Spirit took over and we spent the rest of the night praying for each other as the Lord moved by the power of His Spirit! 🕊️🔥!

Had a blessed time ministering out in Colorado:
In Colorado Springs at Iglesia Arbol de Vida where we had a powerful move of God with a bunch of teenagers, as well as others, getting filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit!
And in Denver at the YWAM Base there where we shared about some of our missionary adventures and prayed over those getting ready to depart on a mission themselves!
Got in a couple of extracurricular activities along the way… gotta go for it when in Colorado 😎!

We celebrated 10 years of ministry in Canada on our latest trip there this last year. A video is included in the update that shares about the supernatural way the Holy Spirit led us and opened the doors to begin ministering there!

Year in Review A Milestone 2023 was a unique time in that our son Patrick got married. We were stoked to celebrate with friends and family as Patrick and ...

Had a blessed time ministering in Orange County at Centro Christiana Esperanza! Was glad to have Patrick and Emily there helping us pray for people! We had an awesome outpouring of the Holy Spirit that touched many who were there, including a couple of young girls who were about 10 to 11 years old that were filled very powerfully with the Holy Spirit. Many others who were there were also filled, empowered, and refreshed, by the Lord’s presence, as well as a couple people who also surrendered their hearts to Christ! Hallelujah!

A few surf shots Mercedes got of myself getting a few waves during this latest round of swell that has been slamming the coast, as well as slamming out some heavy hold downs… which could happen while trying to get through the heavy sets when the swell hit full on especially on that first day!

But hopefully that situation helps some to realize there is someone much larger than us in this universe…especially when staring down a huge mountain of a wave that is about to land on your head and drag you backwards through the lineup almost all the way back to the beach!

On that note we had a powerful divine appointment with a security guard while walking around a beach shopping area afterwards, we started talking and then sharing with him and we ended up praying for him. He was a believer who needed some encouragement and was greatly buoyed and blessed by us praying for him! PTL!

Got out to Zion National Park as well as some of the mountains in that area, enjoying some of awesome scenery and views, while getting a little refreshing out in creation!

We also had a divine appointment where we shared and prayed with a woman who was a believer but had drifted away from Christ, she surrendered her heart back to Christ as we spoke and prayed with her that day! Hallelujah!

Had an amazing outpouring of the Holy Spirit while ministering in Downtown San Diego at Iglesia CDO this weekend!

So many were empowered and filled, healed, delivered and some who received the Lord and others who rededicated themselves to Christ. The Holy Spirit swept through as we preached and then prayed for people.

Had a fun time at the “Friendsgiving” our friend Lauren Dowler put on which turned into a fun time of us seeing some old friends and leading some worship and transitioned into a time of ministering to one another 🙏 🔥!

Was a blessed time sharing and ministering together with John Ruttkay in Costa Mesa at a House Meeting and joining with our son Patrick and his new wife Emily in doing the worship, as well as seeing old friends like Stan, Diane, and Jacob Frisbee (Lonnie’s brother)! Also got out to a CS Lewis play recently together with John Ruttkay, Patrick, and Emily too which was just an amazing play! It was sold out with a line around the block to get in! Wow!

As an unknown monk Martin Luther received a revelation of the Holy Spirit that eventually spread reform, renewal, and revival far and wide, while shaking up the religious system. October 31st is the 506 Anniversary of the Reformation! Check out our Reformation Blog and New Video:

Awesome time ministering up at the North end of the island—at the ends of the earth—in Port Hardy, Vancouver Island, Canada. The Holy Spirit was pouring out in all 4 meetings that we did the whole time. Received testimonies of people blessed and ministered to and lives touched and transformed, glory!
Also got to have a wild time with Laurie and Jodi who took us out roughly 50 Kilometers in their truck on rough dirt roads out to the Islands Northern Coast to San Josef Bay where we got in some awesome scenery, and hiking, as well as a bit of surfing too, out in the wild and stormy conditions!

Got in some fun surf out in Tofino, Canada, thankfully got some nice sunny weather and fun waves while there…not always sunny like that in these parts!
Also had a blessed time ministering in Victoria at the The House, Sunday and at some house meetings during last week, and in Duncan again with Lance and Sarah, looking forward for more to come!

We had a blessed time celebrating the 10 year Anniversary with “The House” in Victoria, Canada and sharing about how the Lord connected us with them, as well as ministering in some meetings during the week where we experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit in an awesome way, as well as joining up with Lance and Sarah for some worship and outreach in Duncan! Great to get out to the coast as well and get in a little Canadian cold water surf! We’ll be ministering at the House this Sunday Evening too at 6pm!

Been getting in some fun adventures with a bit of surfing, hiking, and biking up north in Northern California and Oregon! Cold water but some fun surf! Creation reflects the glory of the God!

Got in a good 105 mile trek along the coast over a couple days on our bicycles down to Mission Beach and back. That brutal hill at Torrey Pines/La Jolla is always the hardest part and contributes significantly to the 2316 ft of elevation gain covered on this ride!

Remembering “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me“ helps get you through when inching up those steep hills!

(BTW: This is on traditional human powered bikes not on e-bikes…didn’t need to point that out a few years ago …😎!)

Was a fun time recently sharing about the early days of the Jesus People Revival and how Lonnie Frisbee not only evangelized but led others into the Baptism of the Holy Spirit regularly in the little church where Chuck Smith first opened the doors to Lonnie which eventually led to a wave of Hippies getting saved. Been blessed to have been up and down the Coast of California while ministering over the last few months in some different places and to experience the presence of the Lord along the way, as well as experiencing the blessing of our son Patrick and Emily getting married! Awesome time in Yosemite National Park celebrating our Wedding Anniversary! The waterfalls are amazing this year! Great seeing them just flowing so heavily and the river gushing so strongly, so much more than normal for this time of year from all that snow melting off the mountains from all those super storms this last winter!

We also had a wild divine appointment while stopping at El Capitan one night where we encountered a guy who needed directions and then we started talking about other things…which led to us witnessing to him…he shared that his brother who is a believer has been sharing with him, well that was a sign that the Lord is going after him…like Lonnie used to say “pay attention to the signs”…we ended up praying with him in the end to receive Christ and led him to the Lord ! Glory Hallelujah! Be ready in and out of season! (1 Tim 4:2)!!

We had a fun time sharing about some adventures back in the Jesus People Revival and Lonnie Frisbee and how I ended up at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa back in the day. It was an awesome night of worship, sharing, and praying for others for the filling of the Holy Spirit at Calvary Chapel San Clemente. The Lord’s presence was with us as as we worshiped, shared, and ministered!

Such an awesome time celebrating with friends and family as our son Patrick and his beautiful bride Emily came together in the union of marriage at their wedding!
We also had such a fun filled week leading up to the big day, getting in some surfing and beach time and other activities!

We had a blessed time ministering at the Vineyard in Salinas in Northern California with our friend Dave Estrella where we were sharing and reflecting on the Mother’s Day Outpouring and Lonnie Frisbee. We experienced a very powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit as we ministered in Salinas with many being filled, empowered, and renewed, including some who had awesome breakthroughs with being filled and touched in a fresh way by the Holy Spirit’s power!
