What prompted this post? Having to help another patient with a recent colon/stomach cancer diagnosis following a a few years ago.

I already know many are going to comment on its life saving use. We are not disregarding emergency situations, but in general a big number are not in fact emergencies becuase they arent educated on why/how it got that way.

While symptoms may decrease post removal what may be long term implications if the person isnt informed or taught what needs to change to be included now that its gone, can be worse.

I see lots of pain patterns in the body (becuase the nerves are still there sending information), as well as digestion/constipation and hormone problems following.

Not only do antibiotics disrupt your gut microbiome short term, like increased susceptibility to other infections, but they can also have long term consequences leading to leaky gut.

It’s crazy that doctors give them out like candy… for everything!!! Antibiotics are not specific, they wipe everything out! And most the time the imbalance is already what you’re dealing with.

Many don’t like their mood to antibiotics but it’s a big one.. if your gut isn’t happy you aren’t either… that’s where they are metabolized. So unless it’s an emergency, just say no!!! Learn to heal your body naturally, figure out why it was compromised in the first place, and don’t fear every infection!!

This is a powerful concept of how we think and why it can be difficult to change our minds about things.

This concept from neuroscience, tells us that the brain likes to go the easy route conserving energy, and why it may be difficult to change how it does things.

It also tends to hold onto whatever it is introduced to first. This is why I love seeing little ones early because we are able to adapt them and give the brain the right input, and also why it’s important to train them early with their minds and with how their body works. What they are introduced to first is what they will adjust everything else to.

As an adult it’s not impossible to change but is more tedious. Structure and consistency is important so don’t give up! It likes to go the easy way, but consistency helps to burn new pathways.

Can’t tell you how many digestive problems are fixed by fixing the function of this valve.

Digestion, proper digestion revolves around a healthy regulated nervous system. So often times you need to reset this neurologically in order to get it functioning again. The occiput or the back of the head is a big player here for this area to balance.

But if we’ve addressed the nervous system dysfunction, and the valve keeps reacting, then there is an emotional reaction to that area. Either things aren’t being let out or things are entering in.

whatever the cause, if you figure out the connection, you can get this valve working again properly. I’ve had many patients heal their digestive System function after doing tons of supplement routines just by healing this valve.

The , but the most impactful for energy and digestion. So many people wake up, go right to their phones or artificial light and drink coffee… coffee dehydrates you further and caused cortisol to spike even further(its highest in the morning).

Your body gets dehydrated at night, additionally EMFs and artificial light also dehydrate your body. For proper digestion you’ll also want to clear out what you didn’t digest the day before.

Drinking natural spring water with added minerals is a great way to rehydrate your body everyday, clean out the trash, and hydrate your cells. After that get in the sunrise to simulate hormones to release, then you can go about your day!

A lot of kids and adults go to speech pathologists for tongue thrust or lisp issues, but I find most aren’t trained to actually deal with the root causes.

As you’ll see in the flow chart in the second image, most people run to the very last thing on the chart, which is orthodontic intervention, without addressing the things earlier in the flow chart, which are the root causes of the condition.

This in turn, is why orthodontics in and of themselves do not help unless managed with nervous system regulation, and neuromuscular retraining. Why the teeth are consistently moving and muscular and body pain afterwards.

This condition takes a team effort with reestablishing the mechanical posture, through cranial, and nervous system rebalancing. Addressing the oral postures through myofunctional therapy with speech pathologist, addressing a tongue restriction, addressing any inflammatory components in the sinuses or lymphatic system, and then, addressing the airway resistance in the palate.

This quote is from a book written over 40 years ago. It discusses the inherent importance of stabilizing the top and bottom for proper nervous system regulation and health.

A properly regulated nervous system is what regulates health and vitality in the body. And the misconception is, you can treat one, and not affect the other. It boggles my mind in chiropractic school where they leave out the cranium entirely when it is over 80% of the nervous system. In reality, the nervous system works as a unit, and the cranium, and the balance of the teeth, as well as the pelvis, and the rest of the postural structure needs to be balanced together.

One end will affect the other. This is why, for instance, someone with significant cranial tension and occlusion/bite issues, can have severe lower back pain and disc bulges. And another who has severe TMJ dysfunction, has chronic rib, upper back and body pain.

Discomfort is usually never where you feel it. Look at the body as an entire unit. It’s always seeking balance and trying to get back into balance. So always keep in mind, regulating and balancing top and bottom.

The body is crazy intelligent. For instance, it will hold onto weight and inflammation as a means to conserve energy. It also does this to protect your vital organs from toxins 👉🏽If you don’t support the energy, yet go to detoxing / cleanses it can backfire on you big time:causing more weight gain or you feel sicker.

This is why it’s so important to not follow every trend and protocol out there, and use wisdom. An approach in our practice we follow is: always address the energy systems first, and where the depletion is coming from:

1. Nervous system dysregulation- if your nervous system is dysregulated either from mechanical stressors(head, teeth, airway, back,etc.), chronic stress/traumas or environmental depleters like EMFs and artificial light. This will be a constant pull on your energy systems. Nervous system regulation is always #1 to help the body self correct. This often requires someone assisting you in getting it back into balance or addressing trauma. (Chiropractic + cranial)

2. Cellular hydration. Utilizing proper minerals in the diet, getting natural sunlight everyday, and drinking clean, alive water. Mitochondria are in your cells, and your cells need to be hydrated. Cut out caffeine.

3. Whole food nutrition. Eating bioavailable protein, not skipping breakfast and eating a variety of seasonal foods ensure proper vitamins and minerals needed for methylation. You need proper to build energy.

4. Rebuild mitochondria if necessary with supplementation. Often times, regardless of toxicities, medications, and pathogens, we have to first support the mitochondria, and get it moving again in order to do anything else. Not everyone needs supplementation here, but for genetic mutations, and very depleted pathways in the energy cycle, initial supplementation is required. I ALWAYS support the mitochondria in EVERY nutritional protocol before doing anything else. God made our biochemistry in a very specific order starting with making energy. This is why you must start here before anything else. And what the mitochondria needs is different for every person. There’s no perfect Supplement.

After this, move onto toxins and pathogens.

POLLEN… a sight that would’ve taken me out many years ago, now is seemingly just dust in the way.

Why? I had a dysregulated nervous system due to airway resistance and traumas, which caused my brain to hyper sensitize pollens, as well as a backed up liver methylation due to parasites, mold, metals and deficient mitochondria that caused histamine to go nuts.

Allergies are just your brain tagging something harmful that isn’t. You have to find the ”. What was the environment the brain had when introduced to that “allergen”?

Fixing my airways helped a lot with anything sinus I struggled with, but also dealing with the emotional triggers of those allergies and cleaning up my methylation by knowing which genes were turning on..

As someone that couldn’t even go in the grass as a youth without sneezing attacks, I can now hike and go anywhere any season…

Retraining your brain can take steps.. but if you follow our methods : nervous system -> methylation -> emotion, you’ll be able to tackle it.

Some of the worst conditions as far as destruction of the body are those that cannot feel pain any longer.

Upon reading a biography of a surgeon who dealt with these conditions like that of leprosy for instance, the biggest devastation is not the infection itself, but the aftermath of not being able to feel pain that caused the most destruction in their limbs.

Pain receptors in your bladder for instance alert you of the time to eliminate, but if that doesn’t exist, you will no longer know when to go.

Pain is an integral part of our being. It’s a signal, it’s not a malfunction. It’s alerting you of something and if that alerts goes away, you are worse off.

In these cases, the surgeon viewed pain as a gift. If you can’t feel heat, you will burn your hand. I wonder if we redirected our mindsets to taking something to numb pain everytime we feel it, we would actually begin to understand what’s happening.

Typically, it’s a redirection of change: whether physically, chemically or spiritually. What it isn’t: numbing while you continue in the same pattern.

The brain has a purpose for everything it does.

What was your birth story like?
A question I ask all of my new patients as they give me a weird look.

Why do I ask this question, because it gives us a lot of information. Especially if I’m seeing a newborn infant, and their body is extremely tense and tight, or a child that is withdrawing from people or holding in going to the bathroom, or has massive separation anxiety. Their body is holding onto a pattern or trauma that is not their own….

Knowing your birth, cannot only give you a lot of information about how much physical trauma was placed on your head and nervous system, but it can also give you insight into patterns about your worldview and things that have happened to you, about your stress patterns in your body, and about the way you respond to stress.

The good news is, Jesus can free you from any pattern that you may have developed or taken on as a result of your mother experiencing stress and trauma or feeling unwanted/rejected. But instead of getting into the trap of just observing patterns in your family or yourself, or blaming it on your personality, it takes a persistence, and being the one to change those patterns and be released from them. Your brain only continues a pattern based on what it knows. When you start to change that dialogue, your body, muscles, fascia and nervous system will also respond.

Liz is such a simple tool, but has profound information. I’d say that proper oxygenation in the body is probably one of the most overlooked health concerns.

But in reality, everything in your body needs oxygen, as well as being a preventative for most infections as most infections are anaerobic .

Other than blood-based parasitic, infections, and sources of anemia, or toxicity in the blood, a decrease in oxygenation, due to mechanical reasons of air resistance and postal, collapsing, is a big reason why you are not feeling your best.

What are some causes of poor oxygenation in your blood?

Of course, the most obvious which I already mentioned is to fix the mechanical limitations that are restricting oxygenation. This could be from a narrow palate, nasal obstruction, mouth breathing, and other oral issues.

A lack of movement and exercise also decreases oxygenation.

Sludgy blood that is dirty because of too much inflammation with processed foods and sugar, toxicity, or blood-based pathogens.

Anemia.

Poor lymphatic drainage.

Poor methylation converting nitric oxide in your body, or high homocysteine.

Heart issues.

Check your blood oxygenation, and you might just receive the information that you need to help supercharge your body.

Women need to bleed each month for proper function.

Birth control we know is bad for so many reasons but another is the cessation of bleeding… blood is a way to detox, to purge and cleanse… if you stop it, you stop that process.

Now an excess of bleeding or irregularities are signs your hormones aren’t balanced, and need to be addressed, (this could be physical or spiritual) but not having one is NOT something to brag about…

It’s dangerous.

One in three people are prediabetic in the United States, and have no idea they have what’s called metabolic syndrome, which causes massive inflammation in the body.

for whatever reason, Doctors even endocrinologists no longer test fasting insulin. But insulin is a huge marker to tell how regulated your blood sugar is. You can have perfectly normal blood sugar levels, less than 90, and still have insulin that is through the roof over 5. Fasting blood glucose can mislead you big time.

It can also be a huge help in balancing hormone regulation, brain function, joint and muscle inflammation, and much more. And keep And keep in mind you want to know functional blood lab test values, because even if doctors test these labs, they will say you are fine when the lab values are completely not functional.

So next time you get labs, make sure you get fasting insulin. It’s such an inexpensive test but a very important one. Having metabolic syndrome will affect everything.

Since seem to be trending, here are my ✌🏼 cents.

I don’t consider myself a mold expert, but I have overcome and helped many get rid of this stubborn hidden health culprit.

mold is a major immune system disruptor, and even if you were in the knowledge of the moldy environment and leave that environment, it could still stay in your body. It can also transfer to children through the placenta, breastmilk, or just being in a moldy home unknowingly.

Some individuals have genetic predispositions that don’t allow them to eliminate mold, effectively, or just chronic mold exposure causes your body to hide it in the tissues like the brain, organs especially the kidneys and fat tissue. One big reason for cellulite, and going to the bathroom all of the time.

mycotoxins can cross the blood brain barrier, causing a lot of brain inflammation issues, and also cause havoc in the gut, causing leaky gut, digestion disruption and allergies, and a free ride in for parasites and bacteria. 🐛

Mold inspection can get really pricey, so if you suspect it, or you’ve done some lab testing that shows your body has mold in it like a mycotoxin test or an organic acid test, you can first start with some petri dishes from immunolytics, if you have four or more colonies, send it to the lab. For more in-depth, you can use the mold guy.

I like to use kinesiology testing to test if there is any mold in the body first, and then we can do urine testing or other gut testing to see if there is also colonization of the mold, growing in the body.

if you do end up having mold, don’t just treat the mold. You need to clear the mycotoxins and active colonization, but also you need to fix the digestive system, clean out the parasites and bacteria, and make sure methylation is working properly. I see people doing this one thing at a time treatment, and not only does it take years to see any results, but also mold is rarely the only sole issue.

There’s a lot more that could be said about this topic, I just wanted to chime in because I see a lot of mold, experts, not properly treating people.

High blood pressure can be a combination of things.
We always address the nervous system and airway first as that is a direct stress on the heart.

Then diet, lifestyle and movement.

However, if you’ve done all these and still have high levels, it’s not an issue with your heart but with homocysteine levels too high.

Enzymes in your body break this substance down but when there are genetic variations here, heavy metals, pathogens or toxins bogging it down it can’t break down the homocysteine.

Supporting this enzymes and others can help get healthy levels back and blood pressure to go down.

Methylation work is 👑.

Always work on increasing circulation to the eyes.
#1 is cranial or lymphatic work to the face to increase blood flow and take pressure off the eyes. Facial massages also help.

#2 work on the liver/gallbladder to help increase circulation to the eyes. If they are backed up or toxic your eyes will take the heat.

#3 work on cleaning out pathogens in the eyes/brain like parasites, lyme based infections and mold.

The main piece of information our feet can give us about the brain is whether or not it is
getting enough oxygen. If blood flow to the feet is restricted there’s a chance that blood
flow to the brain could be suffering a similar problem, and the brain will be absorbing less
oxygen than it needs to be healthy.

The main effects of lowered oxygen levels to the brain include fatigue, memory loss, confusion and sleepiness, and depression is often a side effect due to a lack of understanding as to why you are struggling with everyday tasks. Long-term oxygen
deprivation can lead to more serious problems, including the onset of dementia.

Our brains are highly metabolic organs, so they require lots of nutrients and oxygen to function properly, and those can only get to our brain when we have good blood flow.

This is why proper cranial motion is so key to circulation to the brain and body. Nasal breathing, to actually convert oxygen, and daily movement.

Also thick toxic and sludgy dirty blood impedes circulation. Great additions to exercise and cranial chiropractic is acupuncture, lymphatic methods, and nutritional support to boost nitric oxide - beets and daikon radishes are great blood purifiers as well as some other herbs and nattokinase. Proper cellular hydration is also key and other methods to help circulation are PEMF devices.

Having struggled with hormone issues for years due to toxins, pathogens, airway restrictions causing nervous system dysregulation and traumas I have empathy for those who are suffering.

None of what I wrote above is meant to distract from my empathy for those suffering or in emergencies, and either genuinely have no time or at least perceive they have no time to solve the problem alternatively.

However, without changing the biochemistry and methylation the root cause is never actually dealt with because hormones are just messengers.

They matter, but are never in charge.

I can’t wait to release some stuff I’ve been working on in the near future on how to help hormones, but for now just recognize that just giving hormones, even “natural ones”, is it really fixing the issues?

Development of the cranium and connective tissue happens pretty early, and sets the stage for the baby thereafter.

So with so many infants now having tongue ties and cranial problems the focus should be first directed towards the health of the parents. Genetically speaking…

Preparing a good year beforehand to rid yourself of teratogens, pathogens and clean up the body. This changes genes expression. Then of course chiropractic care and posture care throughout pregnancy to make sure the pelvis has enough space for the growth of the infant to not put pressure on the cranium and spine, and always care after a birth…

I bet you didn’t know it happens that early?! And it’s the most important stage in development as far as future implications…

I can’t tell you how many chronic mechanical issues I fixed extremely quickly, just from following this principle.

From chronic low back, pelvic and disc issues 👉🏽caused from cranial and bite abnormalities, to an unstable pelvic region👉🏽causing TMJ issues.

Everything in our system is connected, so typically, if you’re just focusing on one region, you may miss the picture of what’s reciprocating on the opposite end.

So if you’re struggling with something chronic, you might want to match the pair and address where that issue is coming from.

Many ask me for advise of what to give their kids for ADHD and spectrum issues.

The answer isn’t necessarily simple: every child just like every person is different.

However one thing you WILL always find is undermethylation.

My approach first is always making sure the brain and nervous system are balanced, moving the fluids like CSF.. because when you are needing to detox and support a body, things have to flow… nerves need to breathe and move.

We next handle the methylation issues. You have to eliminate the sources like toxins, electronics, processed foods and toxic stressful environments.. then you can utilize customized supplements. Many people go to supplements first but it’s not always my approach.

Typically they will need liver methylation support for all the toxins, vitamin D enzyme support for the immune and pathogen eliminating herbs, minerals are always needed for heavy metals and other deficiencies and others require fatty acids to help feed the nervous system.
Some may also need extensive mitochondria support.. the cases are different but I hope this helps to give you a basis…

The longer you wait, the longer it takes.. and many just go to therapist and speech people… when they need to be cleaning out the body so it can work!
