It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Victor B. Rodriguez passed away after a short illness on December 7, 2023. Victor started his Real Estate career in 1987 with Coldwell Banker after his retirement as a Colonel from the United States Air Force following 28 and a half years of service. He became a real estate broker in 1990 and joined RE/MAX. He worked with RE/MAX Affiliates, RE/MAX Allegiance, and RE/MAX Executives in Alexandria, Virginia.
In 2006, he became the first President of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), which works to educate and empower real estate professionals who work with Hispanic buyers and sellers. In 2002, he was given the prestigious career award by RE/MAX to be in the Hall of Fame. Victor mentored many in the industry and selflessly offered his help and support to everyone who knew him. His absence will be profound to those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Monica, son Victor, daughter Vivian, and business partner and daughter Vanessa, who had the privilege of working by his side for 23 years and six grandchildren.

There will be a Catholic Mass for Victor at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (8710 Mount Vernon Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22309) at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 14th, with a reception to follow. Instead of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Lung Association in his name.
