21-year-old killed, brother injured in rare mountain lion attack 03/24/2024

This is the quote from the news “They fired their guns and scared off the mountain lion”

Ridiculous that the officers would not kill the mountain lion after it already killed and attacked another human. Mountain lions must be manages. We have a overpopulation of mountain lions in this state, because the anti-organizations stopped the management of mountain lions. They did the same thing for bobcats and now there’s another animal that is not being managed by science. So it is obvious the anti-hunting organizations desire to manage without science. They are constantly pushing their same agenda on bears in this state. Now, for the last number of years, we have had a lower number of take of bears and an overpopulation of a species that is now causing issues. When you don’t manage to species, then we continue to have issues. We must manage with sound science.

21-year-old killed, brother injured in rare mountain lion attack A mountain lion attacked two brothers, killing one, while they were out hunting for shed antlers, authorities said.
