Jog-a-thon Update! With a week and a half to go, we're a little over halfway to our goal. At $55,000, we have raised enough to pay for ArtReach and Garden for one year. But that won't begin to cover any of the many other wonderful things like clubs, dance, teacher appreciation, Holiday Performance, and more. Can you challenge yourself to send out three more requests this week? Maybe mom or dad can take your QR code to work with them. Or take your grown-up and knock on your neighbor's door! All students who sign up and send out at least one pledge request are entered into the limo ride raffle! Don't miss out! Let's get to our goal, Jefferson!

North Park businesses! We need your help! Jefferson Elementary is our neighborhood public school here in the heart of North Park. Our wonderful IB STEAM school, is also a Title 1 school, meaning a large proportion of our students come from low-income households. We've started our annual fundraising efforts. Our non-profit, Friends of Jefferson, raises funds to pay for our art, garden, and dance programs, which are not paid for by the school district, and cost around $95,000 per year! We also raise money to pay for our after-school clubs, school events, and other enrichment, such as assemblies and field trips. We need your help to make these enriching programs possible for ALL of our students! Your donation is tax deductible (we're a non-profit! Whoop Whoop! πŸ™Œ) and makes you feel warm and fuzzy. And as a thank you, you'll get some awesome perks shown in the image above! DM if you'd like more info or to make a donation. Thank you!!
