The CPUC works with community based organizations (CBOs) to assist consumers with utility education and assistance in multiple languages. We recently met with our lead contractor, International Institute of Los Angeles, as well as two CBOs who are part of our program, Pilipino Workers Center (PWC) , and the ARS Western USA to discuss our programs, known as TEAM and CHANGES. Intervenor Compensation The Intervenor Compensation Program Guide and Forms have been revised to incorporate changes resulting from the enactment of Senate Bill 512. Today we announced the third round of recommended awardees for last mile broadband projects as part of the $2 billion Last Mile Federal Funding Account Grant Program that aims to expand internet access for underserved and unserved communities across California.
The proposal recommends awarding up to $95.2 million for 10 projects in Alpine, Modoc, Riverside, Santa Barbara, and Tulare counties.
