SF Water, Power, Sewer (SFPUC)

San Francisco Public Utilities Commission — Stay up to date on everything water, clean energy, & wastewater.

Report any water, power, or sewer issues to San Francisco 311. Water

The SFPUC delivers drinking water from the Hetch Hetchy Regional Water System to 2.6 million people. Two unique features of this system stand out: the drinking water provided is among the purest in the world; and the system for delivering that water is almost entirely gravity-fed, requiring minimal fossil fuel consumption.
