From the 1942 San Francisco State College yearbook: Radio broadcasting enters the curriculum. Student producers included George Fenneman, Bob Sweeney, Bill Roddy, Pierre Salinger, Louise Winter, Ed Roman and Jeanne Kirwin, under the direction of English and Speech Professor Baxter M. Geeting.
