Are you interested in earning political science maor credit for government and politics internship work?

If so, POLS 181- Internships is the course for you!

Are you interested in pursuing graduate education in city and regional planning?

If so, consider applying for the Master's in City and Regional Planning program at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo.

Assemblymember Alex Lee's campaign is offering some paid positions. Work hours are flexible to student's schedules!

For seniors looking to add POLS 190 or 181C for their capstone in Fall '22 will need to contact the professor teaching the course for a permission code.

Maya Esparaza's campaign is looking for students that may be interested in internships for their organization heading into the primary election in June.

This is a great opportunity to get experience, mentorship, and connections for students to know how and what drives a grassroots campaign for an elected official. If students are interested they can sign up through the google form link in our bio.

The Alex Lee for State Assembly campaign is taking in volunteers, interns, and hiring paid canvassers to help spread the word about Alex Lee's re-election campaign.

For the internship program, they ask that students dedicate 8-10 hours per week assisting the campaign. They also have one check-in meeting per week, and also require interns to complete one session of voter outreach per week, whether that be phone banking, canvassing, or texting voters. Other tasks outside of these would be conducting policy research, assisting with social media graphics and flyers, writing postcards and post-its, and working with voter data.

For paid canvassers, they will work with students individually to create their schedule. This would be part-time and pay between $20-$25 per hour.
