Taking on the Giants: Exploring the Biotechnology Industry As part of the Biotechnology Industry Immersion, Kathy Truong MBA 24 and Liza Santa Ana MBA 24 participated in a series of site visits, sharing insights from their firsthand experiences at Genentech, BioMarin, Beckman Coulter, and Novozymes.

After over a decade of Will Snyder serving as the co-founder, MPAc Executive Director and now Senior Partner, Professor Will has announced his retirement.

Since joining UC Davis Graduate School of Management in 2012, Professor Will has built an incredible legacy at UC Davis, receiving numerous awards for outstanding teaching, including winning the 2018 UC Davis All Campus Graduate Teacher of the Year Award and 2010 CalCPA Outstanding Accounting Educator award. Will and his wife Helena graciously supported upgrades for the Snyder Student Lounge in 2018 with his signature invitation to come in and “Chill with Will.” Enjoy some snapshots of a few favorite moments with Professor Will over the past decade at UC Davis MPAc.

UC Davis GSM Executive Education welcomed 30 government leaders from across California for a summer Leadership Academy. This program created for rising state agency leaders and managers at the California Assessors office offered a deep dive into innovative leadership and team building with learning modules, panel discussions and a keynote delivered by Tomiquia Moss, California Secretary of the Business, Consumer Services, and Housing Agency.

Moss shared with the group: “Tell the stories of the work that you do so people know. When we all do that, we can move the needle on some of the biggest issues of our time."
