50 years ago this year, George Archer won the Masters while keeping a lifelong literacy challenge private. On Monday, October 14. 2019 please join us for the 12th Annual “Stroke of Genius” Invitational Pro-Am Golf Tournament at The Peninsula Golf & Country Club.

In 11 years we have given over $750,000 in grants to various organizations on behalf of George Archer, his family and friends.

The National Education Association kicks off the year long “Read Across America” program TODAY, birthday of the adored Dr. Seuss, to encourage communities to gather their children together to celebrate reading. The NEA provides 365 days of reading resources available to parents, teachers, and children.

This holiday was created to promote literacy and a love of reading at an early age. Children’s authors and illustrators want to get children excited about reading and writing.
