NOVA Academy Early College High School-Santa Ana

Parent Teacher Conferences are on Wednesday, October 2nd; 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Parent Teacher Conferences are an opportunity for parents/guardians to meet with your child’s teachers and discuss your child’s academic progress and citizenship in their classrooms. During Parent Teacher Conferences, we will also be having 30-minute Parent University Sessions. Our first Parent Advisory Council (PAC) will take place the same day from 4:00 - 4:30 PM. New parents welcome to join PAC!

Today is the International Day of Sign Languages, a unique opportunity to support and protect the linguistic identity and cultural diversity of all deaf people and other sign language users. Kaden is one of several NOVA students currently taking American Sign Language (ASL) at through our College Opportunity Program. We commend our ASL students for expanding their communication skills to include and support the deaf community.

Scholars who earned a 4.0 or higher GPA last semester enjoyed a Panda Express lunch today!! Keep up those grades!! 💯💯💯

Scholars who earned Eagle Awards for the month of September were recognized during our school assembly while feeling cozy in pajamas as part of Spirit Week! 🧸💤 Eagle Awards are earned for demonstrating leadership qualities, excellent grades, solid work performance and a positive attitude.

Eagle Athletes were also recognized for their dedication, hard work, and continued commitment to the athletic program this season! 🏋️🏃🏐

⭐️On Thursday, September 5 from 5:00 - 8:00pm, NOVA will be holding our annual Back to School Night (BTSN). ⭐️This is a great opportunity to meet your student’s teachers and staff and hear about all the wonderful things happening in classes and at school this year. Be sure to arrive at 5pm to enjoy some delicious tacos (5-6pm) before classroom visits begin! 🌮 Be sure to sign in at BTSN for a chance to win a pizza party for your student’s Family Class!

Thursday, September 5th is also a minimum day and students will be on an EVEN minimum day schedule with a release time at 1:50pm.

Welcome to the start of the 2024-2025 School Year! It was wonderful to see excitement fill the air on the morning of the first day of school. Our Eagles enjoyed fresh Jamba Juice on the first day of school. ☀️

With the start of a new school year comes the opportunity for our Eagles to set new goals, learn new things, and make new memories. This year we will be celebrating our 20th School Year Anniversary! As our Eagles take flight this year, they can be confident that they have the support and encouragement of a dedicated faculty and staff that will be here to guide them every step of the way. ⭐️

We had a successful Fun Friday at Round1 Bowling & Arcade! We thank our new NOVA Families for all your support this week with our programming, as well as our Student Leadership for being excellent role models to our new scholars. We are confident all of our new Eagles have felt welcomed, have made new friends, and are excited to start their early college high school experience.
