Update; vet has been covered
Ty

Thank you to all those that have donated ❤️ We truly appreciate it!

We are still needing 17.00 to complete this lil girls vet visit.🙏🙏

We also went ahead and chipped her and did not include that in the bill.

She was wandering for a month in dangerous streets of Santa Clarita. How did she survive ? So little and fragile, scared but not feral😞❤️… now she’s 8 weeks approximately ❤️

She will be loved and fed and soft blankets to sleep on❤️❤️🐾

A tiny kitten was posted hiding in some bushes near an apartment complex for 2 weeks.
The tiny kitten was chased by people meaning well, and was in high coyote area.
Shes been secured and safe, but we need your help with donations.
She is full of fleas and few ticks and has worms as well.

She’ll be seeing a vet today and will schedule appointment for fixing him.

Any amount is appreciated 🐾🙏❤️

Our team was able to assist with these pups!! Santa Clarita Community

Reunited❤️🐾

07/18/2024

We want to help all the animals in need
Please if you are tagging us on a scared stray pet that needs trapping, please keep in mind that we need help. Most Shelters are not taking dogs at this time, fosters are scarce, transportation after trapping is also needed. We can guide with “ legal stray hold”!

Some trappers take dogs to the shelters with no back up plan or consideration of the other pets being put in danger to make room. We do realize sometimes it’s better then on the street suffering😞

Also consider sharing our post where we ask for donations. Trapping costs are adding up and does not include if a pup needs to go see a vet.

We ask to please continue tagging us but also ask if someone will do the fostering, transportation once trapped and we are a non profit and donations are needed for us to help.

Thank you for understanding

Just this morning, we went searching for 2 pugs, then ran into a lab running the streets that wouldn’t go to owner ( labs are goof balls sometimes) . Eventually we were able to get the dog to come to out car and the owner got a hold of him ❤️🐾

Then we went to a doggy that’s injured and living in a cemetery lot for a few months. We will continue working on this pup!

Missing since May 30th

We were exhausted from the previous 9 day trapping but this girl was terrified and many sightings had come in to the lfpscv group.

We spoke to Bernie who was an amazing helping and allowed us to enter private property . He showed us where the pup was traveling.

The night before we trapped, as Lorena was driving slow and not expecting to see her , there she was rolling in the dirt and laying down.
Obviously this was a comfortable area and when she ran from my car ( as I did not see her until close) it seemed she ran and knew where she was going.

Kym Koskie-Stocks, David Luce and Lorena Zeballos trappers, went early to check the area and see any signs of her and where we would set the 2 traps.

We decided to set one where Bernie had seen traveling and the second where we saw her laying.

We came back later that evening, before it was too dark, in case the pup was in the area where trap was set, we didn’t want to scare her. 2 traps set and we coordinated an all nighter into the morning shifts.

Expecting this to go late night, Dave headed home as he got the early shift and Kym and Lorena headed to get a bite to eat…

30 minutes the camera started alerting us that something was near our trap. We were so happy it was her, not only because it was early but also because so many predators.

She tried to dig at the back of the trap for food but eventually gave in.

She’s safe!

Owners were contacted and will soon be picking up🙏🙏

Update Kym Koskie-Stocks David Luce and Lorena Zeballos will be going back out to set traps.

1:20 am just saw the pup that David Luce and I ( Lorena) went looking for earlier and set food stations for.

Little pup was rolling in the grass, unfortunately i was in the slow lane and she saw the car approaching and took off.

We know she’s been sighted in the area for a week.

Problem is this is a huge piece of property and it’s private. We were allowed in but need to be escorted in at all times.

9 days search and rescue, in Valencia California.

Daisy had escaped her owners by running out the front door. She was somewhat new to the area, and had only been in the home for three weeks.

Immediately advised owner over the cell on things to do in hopes of keeping Daisy near the home.

Mike and Lorena went later that night to search the area and get an idea of the surroundings. Kim the next day spoke with the owners and set trap that night and stayed until early morning hours.

The next day we had to come up with a plan and also taken to consideration that she had already been trapped by Faith Easdale a few months prior.

That night three traps were set and we took turns throughout the night with Tara, Kim, Kyle and Lorena. That night we saw her going off the sidewalk along a dangerous street, immediately we would drive over to get her to go back on the sidewalk and to try and slow down cars.

The next day, we built a missy trap and set three traps and she still wanted nothing to do with any of them. Netting was not an option as the brush was thick, nor fencing the area would be helpful.
The next morning we brought Otis over, who had helped us previously with the Freeway dog, and used Otis to gain Daisy’s trust and it worked! Lorena was able to hand feed Daisy and Otis and got a few pettings in.

The next night into the wee hours of the morning, we tried again with Otis and we got more petting in and hand feeding, but we couldn’t grab Daisy.

We asked the owner to come over so that he could call for Daisy calmly and also to bring their other pup so even if Daisy didn’t come to them that they sent would stay in the area and keep Daisy there

Daisy didn’t come out while they were there, but she did come after and smelt the area.
We left a blanket for scented item and a water bowl.

We had to make another plan for that evening .

The only thought that came to everybody’s mind was grabbing her. but we need to secure the area as it was easy to slide down causing injury to ourselves. We put metal rods in the ground for foot support , we cut all the branches that were in the way of grabbing Daisy, we set the trap close by so when Daisy would be caught we could put her in quickly and safely.

Daisy normal hours of coming out for two days between six and 7:30 PM, but after was until midnight. The day we decided to get her, she showed up on our cameras early, so Lorena headed over (because there was trust ) and everybody else was ready to jump in.

Daisy recognized Lorena as she went up the hill and as Lorena sat down, Daisy came over for food, the time was coming to grab her and slowly, we started petting her all her over so that when the moment came to grab her, she wouldn’t be fearful. When the moment came to grab her Daisy semi froze and was able to grab her.

Everybody was already under their way to get her down from the hill and load her up into a truck and then getting her home safe !

Tireless nights we all put in❤️🐾 Teamwork, Kym, Tara and Lorena
And big thanks to Daisy‘s owners, her foster who was concerned, Kim’s family and Mark and Lorena!!

Last update: pup is safe.

Well sad update

After 4 days of this girl on the run, and our team catching her, the owners don’t want their newly adopted 11 month old girl.

She has no home and no family to call her own.
She’s still a puppy and acts like a puppy but this is why they are giving up on her.

She’s amazing with small and large dogs, knows sit and takes food gently.

We have nobody that can take her in such short notice and will have to take her to castaic shelter if nothing found, in next few hours.

Santa Clarita CA

Share share share 🚨🚨

Is anybody interested in giving her a home.
She can have puppy play dates and burn off her energy with us for whomever takes her🙏🙏🙏

Watch them play❤️

4 years ago we trapped this lil guy. Roaming the streets for 3 days.

A kind neighbor was putting out dry kibble but the pup wouldn’t eat.

When Barbara Vasilaros and I arrived, his tummy was big. We later realized while at vet, he was bloated from no foods, was approximately 13-14 years old, teeth were in horrible condition.

They vet said he’ll live maybe 3 months, as he was in horrible condition.

Hubby and I decided for his last days we would do legal stray hold, because if he passed we didn’t want him to die alone in a scary and cold shelter.

With proper vetting, good food and a loving home, he’s living an amazing life.

A few months ago a tumor started growing around his eye, which we had surgery for and bloodwork which was not good.

Fast forward to now days
He has 4 rapid masses growing and we have to make the decision now and his appointment has been scheduled, to help him to doggy heaven 🌈.

Please help us continue to help other pets, like our lil Pudgie❤️🥲🐾

Please consider donating to a great cause.

We can use your help and any and all amounts are truly appreciated.❤️❤️🐾🐾
