I am so grateful for my mother. She has shared her love of plants with me for as long as I can remember. It is mostly her fault that I have this flower garden which I treasure. She has taught me to enjoy the natural spaces around me no matter how small or big. Of course, the sparkly and pretty rocks spread through most of my planters and pots are entirely my doing 😎.

Well I've been poking through photo albums looking for a picture of my CB650 with no luck, but I did run across this gem 🤪😂

The great thing about cleaning is you can run across some really fun memories. For example I found a bunch of doodles from the mid to late 1990s. Then some really amazing drawings which I had completely forgotten about (similar vintage). _Then_ the notebook where I detailed the purchase, maintenance, and eventual engine rebuild of my old Honda motorcycle. Absolute treasure. That really was a pretty bike, maybe I can find a picture around here somewhere 🤔

Pondering the back half...I'm very clear headed on how I want the front half of the snake to look: the head location, the balance, the swoop left and then right behind. The path of the rest of the body down to the tip of the tail? Not quite there yet. I've been analyzing images (settled on the California Garter Snake) for hours. It is time to get up, walk away, and do something else!
