🌟 Homeowner Spotlight! 🌟

In July 2016, Monsoon Rain Gardens installed two cisterns at Thomas and Gwen’s home. Before the upgrade, they used three rain barrels to collect water for their garden. Now, they’re thrilled with their new cisterns, which have doubled their water capacity! The installation took just a few weeks, with Thomas handling the gutter work and our team taking care of the cisterns.

Thomas shares, “Our neighbor works with Alleycat Acres, which transforms unused urban land into urban farms. We converted our parking strip into working farmland and use the cistern water to help irrigate it part-time.”

Thank you, Thomas and Gwen, for being such an inspiring part of the RainWise program! 🌱💧

About

The RainWise program provides rebates that cover most or all of the cost of installing cisterns and rain gardens on your private property. Doing so soaks up and filters rain so water does not run into the sewer system. This helps prevent sewer and stormwater overflows into our local waterways during heavy rains.

Be RainWise! The average rebate has been around $4,350 for residential properties. Check your eligibility and the list of RainWise certified contractors to get a bid today!
