I help working moms w parenting, marriage & neurodiversity, so they enjoy their life & career more. I know how it feels to be depleted by the pandemic.
I'm a hospitalist physician, wife, mom of two, and a recovering perfectionist. I was diagnosed with ADHD in my 40s. I know how it feels to be misunderstood. My kids are differently wired. I know how isolating parenting can be, especially when your family is neurodiverse. When I was in the most difficult season of my life, I invested in life coaching. It changed me from the inside out. I gained pra
It sounds too simple but I promise you, IT WORKS. 💕

And then we all have our neurodiverse kids and we REALLY need to stick together! 😳

These phrases don’t solve everything, but they are a quick way to drop the defensiveness and start defusing the situation.

Let's talk about something super important for all the overwhelmed working moms out there: setting boundaries!
If you're anything like me, you love your family fiercely, but sometimes you need to say, "I love you and no."
It's tough, especially when you're juggling work and raising neurodiverse kids, plus your own perfectionism and people-pleasing tendencies!
But guess what? Love doesn’t always mean saying “Yes.” And saying “No” doesn't mean you're a bad mom. It means you're taking care of yourself. It's all about finding that balance and making sure you're not burning out.
Want help applying this to your own life? That’s what I do. Use the link in bio to set up your free consult call. 💕
For some high achievers, ADHD is actually part of the reason for their success.
Yet the diagnosis can be missed because they are so successful.
Why does this matter? Because ADHD can also lead to challenges, including anger, overwhelm, anxiety, burnout, interpersonal conflict, just to name a few.
And for women, symptoms may actually get worse as you enter your 30s, 40s, and 50s.
Many of my clients are working moms with ADHD, either diagnosed or suspected.
If you are one of them, nothing's wrong with you.
It’s just that your strengths and struggles are unique. They may make it harder to navigate life as a working mom.
But once you accept and understand your ADHD brain, it does get easier. I promise. And you don’t have to do it alone.
I offer personalized coaching for working moms navigating neurodiversity. Together, we’ll create strategies tailored to your individual needs. So you can begin to work WITH your beautiful, brilliant mind, rather than against it💕

The only thing worse than an external critic is your inner critic.
You can’t avoid her. But you don’t have to believe everything she says, either.
Try out these phrases to quiet her down next time. 💕

When your daughter calls you selfish.
When you get those judgy looks because your kids are watching their tablets at dinner.
When they say you’re too young to know what you’re talking about.
When they say you’re too loud, too emotional.
Maybe…Or maybe they’re wrong about you.
It’s not your job to change their mind. It’s your job to decide if YOU are happy with how you’re showing up. 🥰
Want to understand more about how to your TRUE SELF and find HAPPINESS in your own journey? I got you. Schedule your free consultation at the link in my bio. 💕
Think about it…
they’re not perfect either.
When they mess up, they need to know there is nothing wrong with them. They need to know how to handle it.
When you fail and own it, apologize, and connect with them around it…you are modeling it for them.
They don’t need a perfect parent.
They need a real one.
They just need you, doing your best.💕
The skills I teach to become a better mom and wife can also help you heal your relationship with yourself.

Here’s the deal: The more you try to ignore uncomfortable emotions, the more powerful they become.
So trying to run away doesn’t work. It just exhausts you and creates more stress and anxiety. Then you have MORE negative feelings to deal with. And you still haven’t learned how to deal with them.
THIS is Headless Chicken Syndrome.
So what’s the cure?
✨Stop running away.
✨Learn to accept uncomfortable emotions.
Once you do this, they have less power over you.And you actually end up feeling calmer. This is something no one teaches us. But it’s a skill you can learn.
🔥You can become as successful at emotional regulation as you are at everything else.🔥
And I am here to teach you.
Starting TOMORROW on my FREE webinar:

This skill of allowing negative emotions is something most of us were never taught. It’s one of the most important skills I teach my clients, and now I want to share it with you, too!
Join me for a FREE Webinar on Wednesday, March 6: Cure Your Headless Chicken Syndrome with the CALM Method. You’ll come away with practical strategies to overcome overwhelm and feel CALMER in 2024, no matter how busy you are.

If you want to stop running around like a chicken with its head cut off, you’ll have to say no. You’ll also have to let go of the guilt and obligation you feel to everyone around you.
But it’s easier said than done! Why? Because even if you want to say no and you truly believe you shouldn’t feel guilty about it, it’s still uncomfortable. That sick feeling in the pit of your stomach when you have to disappoint someone or feel like you’re being rude? Hate to break it to you, but it’s still gonna be there.
That’s why it’s so important to learn to recognize and make peace with your emotions. Until you do, you won’t find the inner peace and CALM you’re looking for.
Emotional regulation is something most of us were never taught. It’s one of the most important skills I teach my clients, and now I want to share it with you, too! Are you ready to learn this skill, too? Set up a free consult at getcoached.jennyhobbsmd.com/consult and let’s get started. 💕
I have some of the best coaching sessions on Friday afternoons. It’s the perfect time for my working mamas to reflect on their week and process the thoughts and emotions that have come up. They take care of everyone else but for that hour, I get to take care of them. They tell me they feel lighter and ready to head home and enjoy their families.
It’s like a massage for your mind…we work out all the pain points, so you can continue to perform at your best.💕

Serious Q: what to wear to Taylor Swift concert… if you’re a married in your 40’s going w your husband?
Everything I see in pics would look like an old lady trying too hard! 😂
He is definitely their favorite. They argue over who gets to spend more time with him…and who is “stuck” with me. 😕
But I do get it. I mean, he’s my favorite too! He is our calm, steady rock, and takes such good care of us. We would all fall apart without him.
Happy Father’s Day, Kevin! 🥰😘
I’ve always felt that finding a whole sand dollar is lucky. Actually I’m not sure I’ve ever found one that wasn’t broken. But the 1st graders at camp this week informed me they are everywhere and nbd. 🤔 So I’m curious: do you think whole sand dollars are rare or common?
Anyway I decided I’m still going to think they’re special because life is just better when you choose to find joy and wonder in the “ordinary.” 💕
(Edit: someone on IG pointed out that I typed this entire post saying silver dollar when I meant sand dollar😂. Fixed it…I seriously need more sleep!)
