Congratulations to Southfield School alumnus Fritze Olsan! Fritze, a senior at , has been named a 2025 National Merit Semifinalist in the 70th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

We are saddened by the recent passing of beloved Southfield alumnus and cherished Shreveport photographer, Neil Johnson. He left an indelible mark on our school community, capturing perfectly the Southfield spirit and essence of our school through his lens. Neil's Southfield Hall of Fame and Campus photos will be treasured by the Southfield family for many years to come.💙

Our 5th graders have LOVED receiving and writing to their alumni Pen Pals! It has been such a great experience for them, both in gaining writing skills but also in learning about other people’s Southfield experiences. One of our students today said “My pen-pal is just like me!!” 🥹 Those reactions are exactly why this project exists! We are grateful to our alumni who participate in this program! 💙
