MEFs June MOTM is Mr Chris P!! You’ll find Chris out there slanging weights in his best captain America fit . Well deserved ! Here’s a bit more about Chris! 👇🏽•

Favorite Movement:
Front squats, or back squats. Really squats in general that include a barbell. Remember: Never skip leg day.

Least Favorite Movement: 
Wall balls BLEH!! Air squats with the need for hand-eye coordination to throw/catch things. It’s like someone decided squats weren’t hard enough and added dodgeball elements to it.

Favorite Cheat Meal:
An All American Burger from NHOP (Northborough House of Pizza) followed by a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. Specifically “Americone Dream”. Because if you’re gonna cheat, cheat like an American: go big or go home.

Favorite Place To Visit:
Really anywhere with warm weather and sandy beaches, but the Manthiri Liveaboard in the Maldives is second to none when it comes to scuba diving.

If You Could Have Any Superpower, What Would It Be:
Teleportation (including bringing people/things)! Being able to travel anywhere in the world in an instant would be amazing. Weekend in Fiji? BAM! Instantly teleport there. You wouldn’t even need to pack anything, just teleport home and back if you need something.

Fun Facts Not Many People Know:
Did you know that jellyfish don’t have a brain? Kind of like me after bike sprints when Colin asks “What-chu thinkin about Chrissy P”. The answer is always “Nothing Colin”

Fun fact about me though: I’m a huge geek when it comes to gaming. I was President of my college’s “Competitive Video Game Club”. Also Secretary and Treasurer but those aren’t nearly as exciting.

Favorite Movement:
Handstand walks. I can only take a few steps (usually in the wrong direction), but I love to practice any chance I get. 

Least Favorite Movement:
Box jumps. Absolutely not.

Favorite Cheat Meal:
Anything with chocolate — dessert is my downfall.

Favorite Place To Visit:
Shanghai, China. I lived there for a semester and every day was a mini adventure. 

If You Could Have Any Superpower, What Would It Be:
The ability to read, write, and speak any language. 

Fun Facts Not Many People Know:
I was a groomsman in my best friend’s wedding. I went on his bachelor party weekend, wore a suit, and even walked a bridesmaid down the aisle.•

Definitely Deadlift

Least Favorite Movement:
If you asked me before 24.1, I would’ve said sn**ch but now it has to be burpees.

Favorite Cheat Meal:
Anything Mexican

Favorite Place To Visit: Arizona. I have a lot of family there and love the desert and mountains. It’s a nice change of pace from up here.

If You Could Have Any Superpower, What Would It Be:
Probably the ability to learn anything instantly. Maybe I’d finally be able to sn**ch properly.

Fun Facts Not Many People Know:
I’ve lived in 4 states already. I was born in Florida and have lived in Arizona, New York, and now Massachusetts.

M.O.T.M. Questions 

Favorite Movement: I like the deadlift because that is what makes me feel like I am not a complete weaking compared to everyone else at the gym. 

Least Favorite Movement: Definitely a tie between lunges with weight overhead or the hand stand push-up (needs a lot of work).

Favorite Cheat Meal: An eclair is almost impossible for me to refuse.

Favorite Place To Visit: I enjoy visiting places that are fun to explore. Snorkeling is usually one of my favorites. 

If You Could Have Any Superpower, What Would It Be: Probably be like The Flash and get anywhere I wanted to be really quickly. I could also do the workouts much quicker!

Fun Facts Not Many People Know: I lived in Japan for a couple of years. I do remodeling on the weekends. I like to make furniture and am getting into metalworking. I love games. I like to play a lot of different sports. •

The superpower to control time. I would be able to reverse, stop, slow down, and speed up time whenever I pleased.

I took a personal challenge of running an X of miles per month. I am not a big fan of running, so I decided to push myself physically. I have completed 15 miles and next up is 25.•

Favorite Movement: Sn**ches, I like that they require technique, speed and power and really the most impressive movement to watch.

Least Favorite Movement: Running even though you probably thought I was going to say squats.

Favorite Cheat Meal: A good wood fired pizza with gorgonzola and mushrooms and a hazy IPA.

Favorite Place To Visit: Nuremberg Germany was by far one of the most amazing places I’ve been (especially if you're a history buff).

If You Could Have Any Superpower, What Would It Be: Time travel (without the butterfly effect)

Fun Facts Not Many People Know: I won a modeling competition when I was 12 and progressed into the next level that also included potential modeling agency contracts but I got myself so nervous I didn’t finish the second day and dropped out. I had a pretty sweet western wear outfit though, so there’s that.•

Run, bike, ski, row. Anything cardio. Count. Me. In. I will still gripe and moan about it, but deep down….in some way I can’t explain…I love all the cardio.

A pint of Ben and Jerry’s. Dessert can be a cheat meal, right?? The flavor depends on my mood in the moment. I love ALL the flavors. ALL of them!!

Favorite Place To Visit:

Hawaii! My favorite place in the world! I will also take a sunny, white sand, clear blue water beach any day (Massachusetts, you gotta help me out and step up your beach game).

If You Could Have Any Superpower, What Would It Be:

This probably doesn’t classify as a super power, but I want a magic wand and some witch powers! Harry Potter style of course. Hogwarts, where is my acceptance letter?!

It’s impossible to hum while holding your nose.

I played alto saxophone in the marching band through high school and during my first year of college at Colorado State University. GO RAMS! My alto saxophone is currently in my closet collecting dust. •
