Washington Academy of Music
WASHINGTON ACADEMY OF MUSIC is a community music school located in Silverdale, Washington.
Washington Academy of Music brings conservatory quality music education to the community music school level through our association with the Royal Conservatory of Music and The Royal Conservatory Music Development Program. We provide superb music education for the novice beginner, the weekend hobbyist, the serious amateur, or the college/conservatory bound student who has professional aspirations.
In addition to our move from Waterfront Park we now have new phone lines:
360-626-9050 for Admin
360-626-9057 for the Director a.k.a Rick
As of October music instruction with us is done online only.
Our goal is to meet or exceed the same high quality and goal oriented level as we have for these past 16 years.
Online instruction is different, no doubt, but students can still make superb progress when they work with a dedicated mentor/coach in a goal oriented curriculum.
Call us now to schedule a free online consultation and learn about our fine programs.

Hello students and parents,
Just a quick update in case we forgot to inform any of you (it's been a really strange month) we'll still be observing our scheduled Spring Break this upcoming week (March 30 - April 5th). This will give us plenty of time to get more familiar with Zoom as well as some exciting prospects with the TeacherZone service.
Thanks for all of your patience during this! We all really appreciate it,
-Tim
Dear WAMFAM Students/Parents,
After a week of looking at different online options and testing several systems we have decided to use each teacher’s personal Zoom accounts for this coming week.
After spring break, which is the following week, we will begin using Teacher Zone and their video lesson system. Login details and training information will be sent out prior to spring break. We can use some of the spring break time for student training (since most of us won’t be going anywhere!) for those of you who wish to get a head start.
We will be contacting each of you by phone starting early on Monday to help you log on to Zoom, which by the way is free for each of you.
You could help us out in the meantime by sending the email address you wish to use for Zoom and online lessons.
